Hello! 

Halloween is coming this weekend. Do you celebrate? We love to decorate and of course, the kids dress up for trick or treating! They are getting so excited!

Here's a simple Halloween card to share:

Instructions:

1. Stamp the bottles along the bottom of the vanilla panel as shown with Archival Basic Black ink. Use the Tangelo Twist maker and the thicker of the two Project Life Journaling pens to draw in a table for the bottles to sit on.
2. Cut out two webs from the spiderweb paper from the Happy Haunting paper pack. Use SNAIL to adhere them to the upper corners of your image panel. Trim even to the sides of the panel, then glue the skinny web strip to the top of the panel overlapping the webs in the corners.
3. Use a wedge of Stampin’ Sponge to sponge the edges of your image panel with Tangelo Twist ink.
4. Stamp the sentiment onto vanilla scrap and cut out as shown. Secure the sentiment with SNAIL to the scrap of Basic Black and then cut out to make a frame.
5. Use the thicker of the two Project Life Journaling Pens to draw a nail and string onto the image panel above the “poison” bottle as shown. Attach your “sign” to the card with a Dimensional.
6. Secure the image panel to the front of your Basic Black card base with SNAIL.

Halloween is around the corner and I've got a cute Halloween card to show you today! 

Start with a Basic Black card base scored at a 5.5" fold line. Trim a 2" strip off the Basic Black cardbase front leaving 2-1/4 as card base front. Punch the top corners of the Tangerine Tango cardstock using the ‘scallop’ punch of the Curvy Corner Trio punch. Stamp the punched piece with “eyes”, “trees”, and “raven” images from Among the Branches using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  Adhere to the inside of the card base.

Stamp the “potion” images from Sweet Hauntings onto the Whisper White cardstock piece using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  Cut each potion bottle out.

Die cut 2 medium Tags and 1 larger Tag from Old Olive cardstock using Big Shot and Tags & Labels Framelits. Add cut “potion” images to die cut tags using Dimensionals.

Loop/twist Silver Metallic Thread behind the largest ‘tag’.  Add the thread to card front using Dimensionals; Add the remaining two tags to the card front using Dimensionals.

Stamp the sentiment on the Whisper White strip using Tuxedo Black ink.  Dove tail the ends using Paper Snips and distress with bone folder to create ‘wave’.  Add to card front using Dimensionals.

Measurements: 

• Basic Black cardstock: 4-1/4 x 11
• Tangerine Tango cardstock: 3-3/4 x 5
• Old Olive cardstock: 2-1/4 x 6
• Whisper White cardstock: 2 x 4; 3/8 x 4
• Metallic Silver Thread:  approx 36”

I think you are going to love the look of this smackdown technique! Although these cards use 'Happy Thanksgiving', the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set has so many sentiments you can use to change up the message on this card for any occasion!

Instructions:

1. Stamp the Maple leaf using Crumb cake ink in the center of your whisper white and smack it down repeatedly in the surrounding area to create a double image kind of look.
2. Next Stamp the Oak leaf in Lost Lagoon ink on the top right and bottom left and smack it down repeatedly as well also creating the double image kind of look.
3. Next stamp the next leaf on the top left and bottom right in Soft Sky ink and smack it down repeatedly in the surrounding area to create the same double image kind of look
4. Next stamp the smallest leaf in Mint Macaron randomly to fill in the spots that are left, also smacking down repeatedly in the surrounding area creating the double image kind of look.
5. Stamp Happy Thanksgiving- or any sentiment, randomly in Crumb Cake all over the card.
6. Stamp Happy Thanksgiving-or any sentiment- in Lost Lagoon on Soft sky and punch with word window, Punch Washi label in lost Lagoon and adhere the two together and use a Stampin' Dimensional to add it to the card front.
