Easter Message Stamp Set

Hello! With Easter coming up next month I thought I would show you one of the new stamp sets in the 2017 Occasions catalogue that is perfect for Easter cards. I showed you some Easter cards using the Basket Brunch stamp set here, but the Easter Message stamp set is great for cards without being cute. This Easter Message stamp set is for gorgeous, sophisticated looking easter cards.

I just love the soft look of these cards, the gorgeous cross stamp image and the Easter sentiments this stamp set provides.

These cards featured in the 2017 Occasions Catalogue use the following products to get the soft look I love: Falling in Love Designer Series Paper (142788), Gold Foil Sheets (132622), Whisper White Cardstock (100730), Early Espresso Stampin Pad (126974), Versamark Pad (102283), Gold Stampin Emboss Powder (109129) and Very Vanilla 1/4" Satin Ribbon (142794).

More Easter stamps

Of course, there are other stamp sets that are just right for making Easter cards. As I mentioned already, the Basket Bunch stamp set is great for cute Easter cards and gifts with so many Easter images. Also from the 2017 Occasions catalogue, the Suite Sentiments stamp set (142968 wood, 142971 clear-mount) has a variety of greetings, include one for Easter. The Little Cuties stamp set (142990) has an Easter greeting and a cute chick, as well as some cute bunny ears that would tranform any stamped image into a cute Easter bunny.

From the 2016-2017 Annual Catalogue there are several multi purpose stamp sets that have some Easter sentiments: Circle of Spring (138964), Teeny Tiny Wishes (128748) and Crazy About You (138856 wood, 138859 clear-mount), Suite Sayings (140709 wood, 140712 clear-mount) and My Hero (141954 wood, 141957 clear-mount). The Every Occasion stamp set (141879 wood, 141882 clear-mount) has a cute rabbit stamp image and has many other images for every holiday and occasion.

Quick and Easy No Layer Stamped Card: Dragonfly Dreams stamp set

Good day! Today I've got a quick and easy, no layer stamped card that features one of my favorites from Stampin' Up's 2017 Occasions Catalogue-the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set. I just love the way this no layer stamped card came together so quickly and am pleased with the way it turned out. What do you think? I am all about quick stamp projects and love when they come together like this.

How To Make This No Layer Stamped Card:

Start with the Whisper White Thick cardstock to create a cardbase, cutting it at 4.25"x11" and scoring at 5.5".

Take the dotted stamp from the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set and stamp across the cardfront as shown with Pool Party and Pear Pizzazz ink.

Then, with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, stamp the dragonfly outline stamp over the colored dots and stamp the greeting below the dragonfly.

To add a little dimension to this no layer stamped card, I added some Rhinestones Basics Jewels to the dragonfly's body.

My Crafty Friends Monday: Basket Bunch Stamp Set

Each Monday, I like to feature different projects that have inspired me and I know they'll inspire you too! This week we've got some great samples of hand made cards using the Basket Bunch stamp set and Basket Builder Framelits Dies. This stamp set is perfect for Easter cards and gift packaging, and as you will see from some of the samples below, this stamp set makes baby cards and birthday cards too!

Each project I have to show you today was created by different & amazingly talented stampers and I have gotten permission to repost each photo.

Happy Easter Card using Hello You Thinlits

I love the way Karen created a colorful strip of Easter images in the background and used the bunny die cut to make it look like he is popping out of the strip. The Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper die cut with the Hello You Thinlit really stands out.

New Baby Card

This card by Stacey is so cute! What a great way to use the Basket Bunch bunny to create this baby card with the addition of the sentiment and background splatter from the Happy Celebrations stamp set. Adorable!

Michelle used the Basket Builder Framelits Dies to create this amazing little Easter Basket! The addition of the flower from the Basket Bunch stamp set adds a perfect touch!

Lynn used the daffodil, grass blade and basket stamps from the Basket Bunch stamp set along with the basket outline and matching dies from the Basket Builder Framelits Dies to create this lovely basket of flowers tied with Gold 1/8" Ribbon. This card could be used for any occasion! Add any sentiment and this could be an Easter card, birthday card or a thank you card!

I love the color combination Marisa used on this Egg-stra special stamped card. She used the stamps and matching dies to create the eggs and flowers and also used the Tasty Treats Specialty Designer Series Paper to create the strips of paper running down the side of the card. Love this!

Custom Tee stamp set: Birthday Card

Happy Friday! I hope you have fabulous plans for the weekend! Today's card features the Custom Tee stamp set from Stampin' Up's 2017 Occasions Catalogue. It was a fun, feminine birthday card to put together.

If you loved playing with paper dolls when you were a kid, you just might find yourself playing with these coordinating stamps and dies to see how many different ways you can dress them up!

How To Make This Hand Stamped Card:

Start out with a card base of Blushing Bride cardstock.

Then, take a strip of Sweet Sugarplum cardstock and run it through the Big Shot in the Fluttering Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Adhere it to the card base.

Take a Delicate White Doily and cut it in half. Adhere the half doily to the Sweet Sugarplum embossed layer.

Then, with some Mini Glue Dots, adhere a strip of Blushing Bride Sequin Trim along the edge.

On a piece of Whisper White cardstock, stamp the t-shirt image from the Custom Tee stamp set and then color it using an Aqua Painter and Sweet Sugarplum ink. Die cut the t-shirt using the matching T-Shirt Builder Framelit Die.

Stamp the 'sash', 'Birthday Girl' greeting and the curvy collar from the Custom Tee stamp set with Basic Black ink and then die cut with the matching T-Shirt Builder Framelit Dies. Use some Mini Glue Dots to adhere the stamped sash and collar to the t-shirt. Then use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the t-shirt to the card front on the doily. Add a Metal Rimmed Pearl to the collar.

For the final step, stamp the 'Happy Birthday' greeting from the FREE Designer Tee stamp set with Sweet Sugarplum ink on a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock and then punch out using the Classic Label Punch. Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere it to the cardfront.
