Kiddin Around Pocket Card

Pocket cards are fun and easy to make! The black twine holds the pocket closed!

Supplies:

• Stamp Sets – Kiddin’ Around (162829) or bundle with dies & save 10% (162839)
• Card Stock – Basic White (159276); Crushed Curry (131199); Old Olive (100702); Just Kiddin’ Designer Series Paper (DSP) (162828)
• Stamp Pads – Tuxedo Black Memento (132708)
• Misc. –Deckled Circles Dies (162286); Adhesive-Backed Lightning & Stars (162709); Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack (155475); Old Olive Stampin’ Blends (154892); Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends (154883); Pebbled Path Stampin’ Blends (161658): Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends (154904); Natural Tones Stampin’ Blends (Medium Deep 159461); Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653); Stampin’Dimensionals (104430);Multi Purpose Liquid Glue (110755) 

Measurements:

• Old Olive: 4-1/4” x 11” scored at 1” and 5-1/2”
• Crushed Curry: 4” x 5-1/4” ; 3” x 3” Die (5^th smallest Deckled Circle); 2-1/2” x 2-1/2” die (4^th smallest Deckled Circle)
• Basic White: 3-3/4” x 5” ; 2” x 3” for stamping; 7/8” x 2-1/2” for greeting
• Just Kiddin’ Designer Series Paper (DSP): 4” x 4”
• Twine: 24”

Instructions:

1. Fold the old olive card base in half and then fold the 1” score line back.
2. Add the Designer Series Paper (DSP) to the bottom of the card front leaving about 1/8” on the left, bottom and right. Add adhesive to the 1” flap and fold down.
3. Wrap black twine around the card, twice and tie a bow. This will be what holds the pocket together.
4. Adhere the larger Basic White cardstock to the larger Crushed Curry piece and tuck that into the pocket.
5. Adhere the 3” x 3” deckled circle to the lower right corner of the card. Adhere the 2-1/2” x 2-1/2” deckled circle on top using dimensionals.
6. Stamp wizard from the Kiddin’ Around stamp set, using memento black ink and colour him in using blends.
7. 1. Face = natural tones
   2. Hat & Cape = Old Olive
   3. Slippers = Smoky Slate
   4. Stars = Daffodil Delight
   5. Wands = Pebbled Path
8. Die cut wizard with coordinating die and add to the card front using dimensionals.
9. Stamp greeting with Memento black ink. Angle cut the end and add it to the card front.
10. Finish it off with 2 yellow stars.
