Bright Wishes

This fun, bold flower is so cute once it’s coloured. I found adding the specks of dots after made the layer even more fun!

Dimensions

• Fresh Freesia: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
• Blackberry Bliss: 4″ x 5 1/4″  and  1″ x 2 3/4″
• Designer Paper: 3 3/4″ x 5″ Stitched Rectangle Die
• Shimmery White: 2 1/4″ x 3 5/8″ Stitched Rectangle Die

Directions

1. Adhere the Designer Paper to the Blackberry Bliss cardstock
2. Place 2 pieces of 5″ white Baker’s Twine on top of the Designer Paper and adhere the ends to the back.
3. Take 2 pieces of white Baker’s Twine (approx 5.5″) and tie a bow around the 2 attached pieces.
4. Adhere the 2 layers Paper to the card base.
5. Stamp the flower on a piece of Shimmery White cardstock using Memento Black Ink. Cut it out using the 2″ x 3 1/2″ Stitched Rectangle Die.
6. Colour the image using Stampin’ Blends.
7. Add ink dots on to the Shimmery White cardstock by using the inside of the lid of the Stampin’ Blend to flick the colour.
8. Adhere the Shimmery White layer to the card using Dimensionals.
9. Stamp the greeting on the Blackberry Bliss cardstock using Versamark ink. (Tip: Swipe the cardstock with our retired Embossing Buddy or a Dryer Sheet before stamping to remove some of the static from the paper.)
10. Pour White Embossing Powder on top,  then tap off excess. Heat Set with Heat Tool.
11. Cut the end of the cardstock into a “V”. Use the side of Paper Snips to rough up all the edges.
12.  Put Stampin’ Seal to the left-side of the greeting layer and a Dimensional on the right-side of the layer, then add it to the card.
