Holly Jolly Christmas

Measurements: 

• Thick Basic White: 4 ¼” x 11″, score and fold at 5 1/2″
• Basic White scrap paper for Santa and saying
• Peaceful Place Designer Paper: 4 ¼” x 5 1/2″

Instructions:

1. Set up the greeting stamp on the Stamparatus so that it is in the upper corner of the designer series paper. Test on scrap paper to see how the greeting will line up on your paper doing the hinge stamping technique.  Then stamp the first time.  I needed to stamp that 2 times to get a darker image.  Position the stamp down a hinge and repeat. Do this all the way to the bottom of the paper.  I used Smoky Slate ink for this.
2. Stamp the Santa from Be Jolly on Basic White using Tuxedo Memento Black ink. Colour using blends.  The skin is Ivory.  Add a little of the Light Petal Pink on the cheeks.  Use Real Red blends for the suit.  Gloves and boots use the Basic Black blends.  Use the Light Smoky Slate for the lines on the beard and then colour over it with the Color Lifter.
3. Fussy cut the Santa with Paper Snips.
4. Stamp the ‘Tis the Season greeting in Real Red on white scrap and cut this out as well. Glue the saying so that it looks like Santa is holding it.
5. Add Santa with dimensionals. I tried to make it look like one foot was standing on the words jolly.
6. Add some of the Matte Black Dots.
