Happy Birthday Sunshine

Measurements: 

• Card Base: Bumblebee 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”, score and fold at 4-1/4”
• Coastal Cabana: 5-1/4” x 4”
• Designer Series Paper: 5-1/8” x 3-7/8”
• Coastal Cabana: 5-1/8” x 1-1/4”
• Cardstock for Die Cut: Basic White 4” x 3”
• Cardstock for Stamping: Bumblebee and Basic White scraps

Instructions:

1. Cut the cardstock and DSP pieces listed in the measurements above.
2. Emboss the 5-1/8” x 1-1/4” Coastal Cabana Cardstock layer using the polka dot embossing folder.
3. Adhere the embossed cardstock to the DSP layer using liquid glue, then wrap a 5-1/2” piece of Bumblebee ribbon around the layer, as shown. Secure the ends of the ribbon on the back of the DSP using Mini Glue Dots (or tape)..
4. Adhere the DSP layer to the Coastal Cabana Cardstock layer, then adhere to the Bumblebee card base using liquid glue.
5. Die-cut the second largest scalloped rectangle in the Stitched So Sweetly Dies from the 4” x 3” piece of Basic White Cardstock.
6. Ink up only the word “Happy” using Poppy Parade ink and stamp on the die-cut rectangle as shown. Clean the stamp well, then ink up only the word “Birthday” and stamp on the stitched rectangle as shown.
7. On a scrap of Basic White Cardstock, stamp the word “sunshine” in Bumblebee ink. Cut the sentiment into a small strip, with an angle at either end and adhere to the card with small pieces of Stampin’ Dimensionals.
8. On a scrap of Bumblebee Cardstock, stamp the sun’s “face” in Momento ink, then stamp the sun’s “cheeks” in Flirty Flamingo ink. Die-cut using the 1-1/8” circle from the Layering Circles Dies.
9. On a scrap of Bumblebee Cardstock, stamp the outline for the sun in Bumblebee Ink, then die cut using the 2-1/8” circle from the Layering Circles Dies.
10. Adhere the two circles together with a Stampin’ Dimensional, then adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
11. Tie a bow with the Bumblebee ribbon and adhere to the card with a Mini Glue Dot.
12. Adhere three rhinestones to the card front, then accent the stamped sun outline and the sun’s cheeks with Wink of Stella.
