Sale-A-Bration love

Hello! Happy Friday!

I've got a great card to share with you today! I think you will love it!! A few of the supplies used here can only be gotten FREE from the Sale-A-Bration brochure!

Here are the supplies used:

Plus,

Scotch Tape, Wax Paper & Dryer Sheet

Measurements:
• Calypso Coral 11 x 4-1/4, scored at 5-1/2
• Whisper White 4 x 4
• Scrap of Calypso Coral
• Best Year Ever DSP 1-1/4 x 4

Instructions:

1. Stamp your greeting in the bottom right corner of the white layer
2. Stamp flowers starting with Calypso Coral ink in the smallest stamp (#1), Blushing Bride ink in the #2 stamp and Daffodil Delight ink in the #3 stamp
3. Stamp flower stems in Pear Pizzazz ink
4. Adhere the DSP layer to the white layer by taping them together with scotch tape on the back
5. Add the strip of ribbon
6. Die cut the butterfly on the magnetic platform in this stacking order from the bottom: #1 cutting plate, #2 dryer sheet folded in half, #3 cardstock scrap, #4 wax paper and #5 cutting plate
7. Adhere butterfly to card front with a dimensional

Good morning!

I've got another cute card to share today. This card uses the 'Celebrate Today' stamp set on page 11.

I also used the matching Balloon Framelits dies-which you can get in a bundle with the stamp set (SAVINGS!!), the new Birthday Bash Specialty Designer Series Paper and the new Birthday Bash Designer Washi Sheets!

I die cut the balloon out of the striped Washi sheet- so easy! Notice how it's a bit transparent…I wanted to leave it like that so you could see what the Washi sheets are like, but I think next time I would die cut a matching balloon out of Whisper White and stick the Washi balloon on that first before adding it to the card- it would stand out a bit more and I could have mounted it on dimensionals too!

***A NOTE RE STAMPIN' GALS GONE WILD:For most of us, January is a month to reflect and make changes. Connie and I have been reflecting on what we want from 2015 too. One of those changes is to shake things up with our businesses.

Connie and I have had a great time with SGGW and we hope that you have enjoyed it. We had a blast sharing with you every Wednesday but we decided we each wanted to try some new things this year so we are no longer going to be posting on each other’s blogs. No, we are not mad at each other or had a falling out. In fact, far from it! We are very good friends! We just wanted to do some different things in 2015.

Connie will run the SGGW Facebook group. There’s some great sharing going on and we don’t want to see that stop so to some degree, SGGW will continue. 🙂
