Hi everyone! Connie Stewart here! I am SOOO excited to hijack Josee's blog for the day and share with you my new series called Up-Cycle It! Each Wednesday this "Stampin' Girl Gone Wild" will be sharing a new video on fun ways to use all those "trashy" items in your recycle bin and convert them into fun works of art. Are you excited? I know I am! I must say I am looking at trash in a whole new way.
Check out today's project! Don't you just LOVE it? This card was created with — you guessed it — soda pop tabs and some old nail polish I was about to throw away. I'm so glad I didn't because I think this card is amazing! I love the look of ribbon slides but how fun is this? Make your own! Super easy too!

Hi girls. This is so cute and I can use my Flash Card CS! yay. However, I am allergic to nail polish. Any other suggestions?
Here are a couple other options:
1) press the tab into the versamark ink pad, then cover with embossing powder and heat
OR
2) use a permanent sharpie marker in a fun colour!
thanks-I had done the embossing before, but I will try the Sharpies…hope the color doesn't wear off!
