You Can’t Improve on Fabulous!

Posted on August 17, 2017August 14, 2017 by Josee

Today's card is a simple, stamped birthay card or all occasion card using the You've Got Style stamp set from Stampin' Up's NEW 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue. This lady is so much fun to color and is the perfect stamp for the ladies in your life!

You've Got Style stamp set, Stampin Up, stamped birthday card, stamped all occasion card, Big Shot

How To Make This Hand Stamped Card:

So this card is easy to put together and starts with some Early Espresso cardstock to create a card base.

Then, I took a sheet of the fabulous Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack and ran it through the Big Shot to emboss it with the Pinewood Planks 3D Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Love the deep texture this adds to the wood plank look.

Tie some 1/4" Copper Trim to the bottom section of the embossed patterned paper and adhere this to the cardbase.

Next, stamp the lovely lady from the You've Got Style stamp set with Basic Black ink and color her in using the Stampin' Up Watercolor Pencils and Aqua Painters, going light on the water since we stamped her on regular Whisper White cardstock. You've Got Style stamp set, Stampin Up, stamped birthday card, stamped all occasion card, Big Shot

Die cut the stamped image using the oval Stitched Shape Framelits die and then die cut a mat layer for the image using Tempting Turquoise cardstock and the Layered Ovals Framelits dies in the next size up. Adhere the two ovals together and adhere them to the cardfront.

Finally, stamp the greeting from the You've Got Style stamp set with White Craft ink on a piece of Early Espresso cardstock and punch it out using the Pretty Label Punch. Add it to the card front with some Stampin' Dimensionals.
