Stamper’s Dozen Blog Hop: So Grateful

Good Morning!

Welcome to this month's Blog Hop! I'm so glad you hopped on by, I've got a lovely card to share with you today!

thankful card

I used the new Holiday Home stamp set available in the Stampin' Up 2014 Holiday Catalogue! It really is such a versatile set! I stamped the houses in Whisper White Craft ink on Rich Razzleberry cardstock and then cut them with the matching Homemade Holiday framelits! (AND you can get the stamp set and framelits as a bundle!!) Using the Magnetic Platform for the Big Shot made cutting the houses SO EASY!!— you can do all three house dies at once (I used 2 of the 3 houses) and the magnetic platform keeps the dies matched up with your stamped images so they don't move when you roll them through the Big Shot! LOVE!! That is one tool worth investing a little money on!

I stamped the background leaves on the Whisper White Top Note Die cut out and then adhered the houses, putting the smaller house in front on Stampin' Dimensionals to give it a little dimension, and then added a little punched out heart using the Owl Builder Punch to create a little door decor! 🙂

I used the Pumpkin Pie Blendabilities marker to colour the little clothespin– it was gold and I wanted it to match the card a little better 🙂 I love that the Blendabilities can be used to colour elements to match! I then used that clothespin to clip the sentiment label onto the ribbon cluster (securing the label layers with some dimensionals so it wouldn't fall off).  The ribbon cluster has a little Old Olive leave punchout from the Bird Builder punch, along with the Rich Razzleberry ribbon and Gold baker's twine!

I hope you enjoyed my card! Thanks so much for stopping by!
