I am so excited to show you some of the cards I have been making since I started playing with my new Stampin' Up catalogue goodies! Today's cards are some simple, easy to make Big Shot birthday cards- that's right! No stamping!
I used the NEW Happy Birthday Thinlits, Oh My Starts Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, 2017-2019 In Color Itty Bitty Bows and the NEW Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper Stack! All New from Stampin' Up's NEW 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue!
How To Make This Big Shot Birthday Card:
These cards were simple to make and would be a great card to make a few of to have on hand for last minute birthday cards! As I mentioned, there was no stamping done on these cards, so I set up an assembly line with the Big Shot.
Start by cutting all the card bases, I did one of each new In Color:
Then I cut all the Whisper White strips running them all through the Big Shot in the new Oh My Stars Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
All the strips of the Fresh Florals Designer Series Papers were cut as well- this is where you could certainly make more than one of each as you cut the 12'x12" papers.
I used the new Happy Birthday Thinlits dies to cut out one birthday greeting of each In Color.
Assemble the birthday cards
Then I sat down to assemble all the cards, adding a strip of the same colored Fresh Florals Designer Series Papers to each matching cardbase. I then adhered the embossed Whisper White layer, making each card a little different by adhering it in a different position.
I then used the Fine Tip Glue Pen to adhere all the Happy Birthday die cuts. You could make this task go a little quicker by using the NEW Multipurpose Adhesive sheets to die cut the greetings- it would really save you from dealing with the glue on your fingers!
Finally, I added a matching 2017-2019 In Color Bitty Bow to the front of the card. They are self-adhesive so no need to add more glue!
