Hello!
If you are looking for a perfect 'Teacher' card, I have a great idea for you today! It is getting close to the end of the school year, and for those of us with kids in school, that often means gifts, or at the very least cards for the teachers. It is a nice thank you for all the hard work they do.
With the current sentiment it could be perfect for a teacher leaving or changing positions, but with a Thank You or other sentiment added I think the shape of this card makes a perfect teacher or caregiver card!
Supplies:
Measurement:
- Crumb Cake Card Stock – 4 ¼ x 11” scored at 5 ½”
- Basic Black Card Stock – 3 ½ x 3 ¾”
- Scraps as listed above for Banner Punch (or any coordinating colors of your choice)
- 6-7” of White Baker’s Twine
Instructions:
- Center the 5th largest Square Framelit on the folded 4 ¼ x 11 piece of card stock about 1 ¼” from the bottom to create “legs” for the card base and run it through the Big Shot.
- Ink the Hardwood Stamp with Crumb Cake Ink and stamp both front and back of the card base. Sponge all edges with Early Espresso ink.
- Stamp the “do more…” stamp in the piece of Basic Black card stock with Whisper White craft ink. Pierce holes or use the 1/8” hand held punch in the card and add to the front of the card with two silver mini brads.
- Punch the scraps of colored card stock with the Banner Punch and use the 1/8” punch to add holes for the banner. String together with White Baker’s Twine (about 6-7”). Wrap around the two mini brads and trim as needed.
- Stamp the hearts on one or two of the banners.
