Fast Card Friday: Wow Flowers meets Flower Fusion

Posted on July 18, 2008July 19, 2008 by Josee

For today’s fast card, I got inspiration from Sherri Barron-Fun to Stamp. She did a Color Challenge and created a card using a similar design and colours. I decided I needed to use some of our new In Colors so off I went to stamp!!!

I started with my Flower Fusion and picked colours that matched with the flowers I used. From the preview stamp sets we got to order as demonstrators (just another bonus to be a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator!), one of the sets I bought was Wow Flowers! I used it as the background of my card using Tangerine Tango. I loved how Sherri used her paper piercer tool to create the stem of the flower with the leaves and had to try that on my Baja Breeze. I then used a strip of Kiwi Kiss and my NEW and very exciting Scallop Edge Punch….this is AWESOME!!!! I know you’ll all have to have one of these!!!

Supplies used
Stamps: Wow Flowers
Cardstock: Tangerine Tango (4 1/4 x 11), Pink Passion (3 1/2 x 4 1/4), Baja Breeze (3 1/4 x 4), Kiwi Kiss (3 1/4 x 1 1/4)

Ink: Tangerine Tango, Basic Black
Accessories: Brad, Scallop Edge Punch, Paper Piercer and mat, Flower Fusion

Happy Stamping!    Josee

Join a fun Stamp Club!

Posted on July 16, 2008July 16, 2008 by Josee

It is time to form new Stamper Clubs. This year I am planning to start my first ones in August with the launch of the new catalogue! Though the projects are geared towards cards and 3D projects, I have many scrapbookers attend to learn the techniques to use on their scrapbook pages!

Each club will have 6 members and will have a choice to attend 1 of 2 optional stamp nights monthly. As a club member you will get a FREE Catalogue & Idea Book! You will also make projects and have a time to order products. Since it takes a $200 order to make a hostess event, each member will agree to purchase $35 of products or more each month. Each member will also get to be the hostess and select the FREE hostess benefits once in the 6 months.

If this sounds like something you want to do check out my Stamp Club Info Page or let’s talk at my Open House on August 14th.

Our first stamp night’s are to be held on August 18 and 19th-your choice of which to attend. If you can’t attend, but, still want to be part of the club for hostess benefits and the project ideas by email-feel free to join too!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great stamping day!   Josee
