Going, going, gone: Happy Together

Today's card uses the stamp set called HAPPY TOGETHER.

With its happy, chirpy birds and a bright, bold flower, this card is sure to be a hit. A little extra white space allows for extra contrast with the main subjects of the card, emphasizing their daintiness. Not a lot of accents on this project, but still a lot of cuteness.

Going, going, gone: Bugs & Kisses!

I'm so sorry to be so absent here…I truly appreciate all of you who come check this blog for updates! This month has been kind of crazy. My father in law was quite sick so we decided to drive to Ottawa to visit him. I learned very quickly how FAR Ottawa is from Winnipeg…especially when you're driving with 3 kids. Thank goodness for the in-car DVD player! We watched alot of movies!

We returned last weekend and it turned out that my husband's dad kept getting worse so he decided to fly by out to be with his dad. I know many of you are quite used to this…but, my hubby's never been away so this is my first time being a single mom. I have a new appreciation for all of you amazing single moms. You all deserve an award!!!

So, I'm trying to get back on track with some samples….I'm going to finish off the month highlighting some of the RETIRING stamp sets and products!

The first card I'm going to show you is using an adorable stamp set called BUGS & KISSES.

This stack of funny bugs will definitely amuse all your favorite little friends. There is nothing simple about the look a simple color palette gives this card. Who would have thought a neutral, like Crumb Cake used here, could play such an important role. It gives the Baja Breeze so much punch!
