Stampin’ Up! Convention 2011: Ribbons & Trims

One of the display's at convention was featuring "Ribbons & Trims". I think it's easy to overlook ribbon in our catalogue BUT it's amazing how a little ribbon can turn a simple card into something spectacular!

Stampin’ Up! Convention 2011: Displays & Friends

One of the best part of Convention is being able to re-connect with friends! Since moving away last year, I have missed seeing many of my team members so seeing many of them at convention was a real TREAT!

The first night of convention we all got together at The Olive Garden for an amazing dinner:

Stampin' Up! had a garden themed party after and we were challenged to bring a decorated hat….here's one that Kathryn made; isn't it amazing:

Here's a photo of me and Janice Weightman…she is such an amazing lady and has been quite a cheerleader for me over the years.

Here's a photo of Maxine Conrad and I. She was my SAM (service account manager) last year and is so sweet!

I love the friends I see and meet at convention! I can't wait till the next event!

Stampin’ Up! Convention 2011 Displays: Beau Chateau Suite

Today's post features the Beau Chateau Suite in the new Stampin' Up! catalogue…if you haven't checked out the suites yet…they are wonderful combinations of coordinating products that will make creating a cinch!

You'll find the product suite on page 132 of your catalogue!

The projects are all so lovely…and this card to me screams elegance, doesn't it?! It uses the new stamp set called CREATIVE ELEMENTS found on page 137.

The displays at convention were out of this world! I took over a 1000 photos and will be sharing them with you over the next while! Hope you enjoy it!

Today's samples feature all kinds of wonderful things you can do with BUTTONS. These cards were created by Linda Heller, aren't they beautiful?!

4 days in 3 minutes….

Here's an amazing hightlights video of what we did at the Stampin' Up! Convention in Salt Lake City this pass week. I'll be sharing more…but, I'm trying to catch up still. If you look slowly, you'll see me at the 2:00 minute mark! It really was an amazing week and I'll cherish it forever. Don't you want to come next year with me??? FUN, FUN, FUN!

Me and 5 ladies from my team (The Inky Divas), earned a spot in the top 15 Demonstrator of the Year category and we will all enjoy a free Founders Circle Trip in September together. I can hardly express how proud I am of these wonderful ladies and their hard work this year!

Congrats to Maggie Patterson, Kim Assaly, Marlayne Hardy, Kay Smith and Nancy Gauthier for the amazing accomplishments…I'm so proud of each of you!

Can you believe how tall Kim is?! In our defence… she was wearing some very high heels! 🙂 Boy, do I look short next to her!

Another big highlight for me was that I was chosen by Shelli Garnder to be part of this year's Advisory Board. What an amazing honour, I can't wait to get to know the other members of this board while on our trip. Here's a photo of some of ther other Advisory Board members.
