The “Under My Umbrella” stamp set is super cute and I loved finding the perfect designer paper to use for the umbrella and boots.
I actually went through all the papers in the 6″ x 6″ designer series paper sampler that you get right now for Joining Stampin’ Up!

Measurements:

  • Poppy Parade Cardstock:5 ½ x 8 ½” (scored at 4 ¼”)
  • Blushing Bride Card Stock: 3 ¾” x 5 1/8”
  • Shimmery White Cardstock:  3 3/8” x 4 ¾”

Instructions: 

  1. Fold the large piece of Poppy Parade cardstock in half to form the card base.
  2. Cut a piece of Blushing Bride cardstock using a die-cut machine with the 3 ¾” x 5 1/8” Stitched Rectangular Die. Adhere to the card using SNAIL Adhesive.
  3. Cut a piece of Shimmery White cardstock using a die-cut machine with the 3 3/8” x 4 ¾” Stitched Rectangular Die.
  4. Press the Pool Party stampin’ pad into a clear block, then use an aqua painter to water it down a bit and use it to watercolour the top of the Shimmery White cardstock. Let dry
  5. Stamp raindrops using Pool Party stampin’ pad.
  6. Stamp the greeting in Old Olive ink.
  7. Stamp the top of the umbrella on the designer paper using the Memento ink pad and punch out using the Umbrella Builder Punch. Add to card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  8. Stamp the handle on the Shimmery White cardstock using the Old Olive stampin’ pad and punch out. Add to card using SNAIL Adhesive.
  9. Stamp the rain boots on the designer paper using the Memento ink pad and carefully cut out using paper snips.
  10. Stamp the flowers on to Shimmery White cardstock using the Memento ink pad. Colour the flowers and leaves using Stampin’ Blend markers. Carefully cut out using paper snips.
  11. Adhere boots to the bottom of the card using SNAIL Adhesive leaving the top without adhesive.
  12. Put Mini Dimensionals on the back of the flowers and add to card tucking one of the flowers behind the boots.
  13. Add rhinestone jewels.

Hey Friend! Bonanza Buddies

Measurements:

  • Whisper White Thick:  4 ¼ x 11; 3 ¾ x 5
  • Mango Melody:  1 ½ x 3
  • Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper:  2 x 5 ½; 1 ½ x 5 ¼

Instructions :

  1. Fold a piece of Whisper White Cardstock (4 1/4 x 11) in half to create card base.
  2. Punch the end of the 2” Designer Series Paper with the Banner Triple Punch and glue to the Whisper White Cardstock (3 ¾ x 4) about ¼” from the right-hand edge.
  3. Punch 1 ½ x 5 ¼ Designer Series Paper with the punch and glue overlapping the previous designer paper about 1”.
  4. Tie the ribbon around the Whisper White in a bow with the bow to the right-hand side.
  5. Cut out a 1 7/8 circle using the Stitched Shapes Dies.
  6. Adhere the circle to the left of the bow with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  7. Punch the Mango Melody Cardstock with the Sprig Punch and adhere to the lower left-hand side of the circle tucking the ends under the circle.
  8. Stamp the bird in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colour the beak with the Stampin’ Blends.
  9. Cut out the bird with the coordinating die from the Bonanza Dies and adhere to the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  10. Cut the Whisper White Thick Cardstock with the smallest Stitched Nested Label Die and stamp the words in Tuxedo Black Ink on it.
  11. Adhere the label to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  12. Stamp a greeting inside using the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.

Oh Darling!

The “Small Bloom Punch” used in this card can be FREE when you spend $120 and can be perfectly matched with the Pleased as Punch Designer Paper OR the Thoughtful Blooms stamp set that you can get FREE with a $60 order. There are so many possibilities! 🙂

Measurements:

  • Whisper White Cardstock:5 ½ x 8 ½” (scored at4 ¼”)
  • Whisper White Card Stock: 3 ½” x 3 ½”
  • Calypso Coral Cardstock: 3 ½” x 3 ½”
  • Basic Black Cardstock: 5 ½” x 3 ¼”
  • Designer Series Paper: 5 ½” x 3”
  • Designer Series Paper: scraps
  • Ribbon: 4” (2 pieces)

Instructions:

1. Fold the large piece of Whisper White cardstock in half to form the card base.
2. Use the small bloom punch, to punch out three flowers (choose the Crushed Curry and Calypso Coral colours) from the “Pleased as Punch” DSP.
3. Stamp the saying, with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, on the small piece of Whisper White cardstock.
4. Punch out the saying with the circle punch.
5. Die-cut out the matching mat with the scalloped circle die. Attach the two circles together with SNAIL adhesive.
6. Attach the Crushed Curry Designer Series Paper (from the Regals 6” x 6” Designer Series Paper) to the Basic Black cardstock with SNAIL adhesive.
7. Fold both pieces of the ribbon in half and attach it to the back of the scalloped circle, using glue dots.
8. Add dimensionals to the back of the scalloped circle to add it to the front of the card.
9. Trim the ribbon if necessary.
10. Add some of the Mango Melody rhinestones to the centres of the flowers and the front of the card.

Meerkat Birthday

These little meerkats are soooo adorable! The best part is you can get this stamp set for FREE with a minimum $60 purchase during our Sale-A-Bration sale!

Measurements:

  • Lovely Lipstick: 5 ½” x 8 ½”
  • Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP): 5” x 2 1/2“
  • Basic Black: 4” x 5 ¼”, 3” x 4”
  • Whisper White: 2 1/8” x 3 1/4”, scraps for sentiment & cactus
  • Basic Black Twine: 8”
  • Crumb Cake: 5” x 1 ½”

Instructions:           

  1. Fold the Lovely Lipstick card base in half and use a bone folder to flatten the fold. Adhere the larger Basic Black rectangle to the card base front.
  2. Color white stripes on the DSP using the Pineapple Punch, Lovely Lipstick and the Call Me Clover Blends. Adhere DSP to the upper section of the card front.
  3. Use the Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder to emboss the piece of Crumb Cake. Adhere to the lower section of the card front.
  4. Stamp the Meer Cats on the 2 1/8” x 3 1/4″ Whisper White rectangle using black ink. Stamp the cactus image and the sentiment on Whisper White scraps. Colour images with Stampin’ Blends.
  5. Die-cut the cactus with the smallest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies and the sentiment from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. Die-cut the scalloped rectangle from the remaining Basic Black piece using So Sweetly Stitched Die. Adhere the Meer Cat image to the Basic Black scalloped rectangle. Adhere this piece to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  6. Adhere sentiment and cactus with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Make a bow out of the Basic Black twine and adhere to card front using a glue dot. Adhere sequins with glue dots.

Peaceful Poppies Series (7 and 8)- Birthday Flowers

Happy Monday! Today is card #7 & #8 of the Peaceful Poppies Series where I challenged myself to use up every pattern of the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper with the Peaceful Poppies Suite Bundle and the Painted Poppies Bundle.


The colours found in the designer paper are:
Basic Black, Blackberry Bliss, Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry, Flirty Flamingo, Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, Pool Party, Poppy Parade, Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White

   

 I used this designer paper for this card. (All the designer papers are double-sided)

I shared 2 cards on Friday, so I thought I’d do the same today.
