It really doesn’t take me much to make me happy!!! Stampin’ Up! has been so wonderful at sharing wallpapers for us demonstrators to add to our cell phones…BUT for some reason none of them worked for my phone. They were either too bright or too busy…so, I decided to make my own using MY DIGITAL STUDIO. I can’t describe just how much I love this program! You can do so much with it!
Here’s what I created:
Quick Instructions:
-I started with an 8.5×11 page in my digital studio and added one of the papers from the new Sweet Pea Digital Kit. (I love this kit…it’s by far my favourite so far!!!)
-I added the Stampin’ Up! logo and the text at the top.
-I clicked on “share project” and exported it as a high resolution jpg.
-I opened the page in a paint program to darken the design as I found it too bright on my phone.
-I connected my phone to my computer and copied the picture from my computer to my picture folder on my phone.
-I then selected the photo and added it as a wallpaper.
Jo’s Simple Tips:
-with my phone, I knew approx. where I wanted the design to be so that it didn’t interfere with what was already on my screen.
-It took me about 3 times making small changes to the location of the design to make the layout fit with my phone.
-I didn’t have to resize the jpeg as my phone made it the right size.
Here’s what my new wallpaper looks like on my phone…don’t you just love it?
