Stampin’ Gals Gone Wild Wednesday- Five-Minute Work of Art

Welcome back! I'm so glad you have stopped by today for another Wild Wednesday post! I have a GORGEOUS card to share with you today. I absolutely LOVE the colour combination on this card AND the NEW stamp set is one of my favorites!

I used a super easy, but super effective inking technique on this card. It is a great way to get more bang from your ink pad bucks! I love that it makes it look like I used several coordinating colours to get the look!

Rainy day boredom? Get started on Project Life!

We have ourselves a rainy summer day today. 🙁 Definitely an indoor activity kind of day, especially with the kids! You could go to a museum, go shopping or hit one of your local indoor play places, but if you are looking for an inexpensive, stay-at-home idea, how about Project Life?

Even if you are not a 'scrapbooker', Project Life is an easy way to record some memories! Even better, it's something the kids can do themselves or you can do it with them! I love to look back at a page of my kids' handwriting and drawings, and I think they will love to look back at that when they are older too.

If you have a box full of photo prints, or lots of photos in digital format never getting printed Project Life is a great way to do something about that!! The best part is, Project Life is available in digital format too! So if you find yourself thinking about how you wish you had thought of this idea at the beginning of the summer before the "I'm bored" started, you CAN get started today!

Blended Bloom Note Cards

Good Morning!

I hope you are enjoying a gorgeous summer day this morning!

I am back today to share with you a wonderful set of notecards! They would make a lovely hostess gift for a bbq party or any gift occasion. Of course, they are just as nice to have on hand to use yourself!

This is a very simple, yet elegant card set, but also very appropriate for any occasion as you you can change the sentiment to any one you would like to fit the right occasion!

Supplies:

· Stamp Sets – Blended Bloom Wood #135906, A Dozen Thoughts Wood #131056 Clear #131059, Gorgeous Grunge Wood #131056 Clear #130517

· Card Stock & Stamp Pads – Whisper White Card Stock #100730, 2012-2014 Cardstock and Classic Ink In Color Kit #129503

Misc. – Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes #131527, Scalloped Tag Topper Punch #133324, Mini Glue Dots #103683, Dimensionals #104430, 3/8” Stain Stitched Ribbon: Blackberry Bliss #133668, Tangelo Twist #133669, Lost Lagoon #133672, Mossy Meadow 133670, Hello Honey 133671.

Measurements:

· Whisper White Card Stock 1 ¾” x 3 ¾”

· In Color layer of choice 2” x 4”

· Note Card: 3 ½” x 5”

Instructions:

Ink the Blended Bloom in the In Color of your choice and stamp it off center in the lower portion of the 1 ¾” x 3 ¾” piece of Whisper White.
Stamp the speckle stamp from Gorgeous Grunge in the same color above the flower.
Center the stamped piece in the Scallop Tag Topper Punch and punch.
Insert the matching In Color layer piece in the punch and punch.
Adhere the two pieces together. The holes won’t line up at the top of the tag but that is okay.
Tie a bow with the coordinating In Color ribbon and attach it over the hole in the tag.
On the note card, stamp the greeting.
Attach the layered tag to the card with Dimensionals.

Stampin’ Gals Gone Wild Wednesday- Online Ordering 101

A note from Connie….I know it's July and when we were kids, we didn't want to think about school at all but today, I want to go over a few things about online ordering. Before you delete, exit, or close, there might be a couple things here that will make your life easier and save you some time. 🙂

As you know, Josee and I have 6 exclusive videos and tutorials that we would LOVE to share with you. Those who use the monthly HOSTESS CODE are emailed these videos and tutorials and I don't want anyone to miss out on them. It's just our way of saying THANK YOU for supporting us.

We have heard from many of you that you can't find the place to put the Hostess Code. Well, let me put your mind at ease… it's not you, it's the location of the box. It's in a really weird place and it is SO easy to miss. Let me share with you what it looks like and where you can find it.

When you "view your shopping bag" you will see a box at the bottom that asks, "Do you have a hostess code?" Once you've entered it, you are good to go and you can continue shopping.

Now, let's stop there for just a minute… if your order is $150 or more, DON'T USE THE HOSTESS CODE! Why?Because Stampin' Up is going to reward you with Stampin' Rewards and Josee and I want YOU to have those, not us. Feel the love? Sure you do!

Not to worry! You'll still receive the videos and tutorials for the month but Stampin' Rewards start at $25 and who doesn't love free Stampin' Up stuff?

When you create your Online Order account with us, down at the bottom of the screen you will see
