A fun gift for Andrea-The silly faces you make page!

Posted on October 27, 2009October 24, 2009 by Josee

Since receiving My Digital Studio….I'm truly addicted…this program is way more than just Digital Scrapbooking…it's truly a digital paper-crafting program! I've created with it almost daily…it's truly FUN! AND I've even had a blast creating pages as gifts for my hostesses…this page is a 12×12 page that I printed out! Just another perk to getting your friends together to stamp with me! Here's the page I created for Andrea, who hosted a party last Friday. She sent me some really silly pictures of her son! It was fun to create a page that highlighted her son's fun personality!

I started this page using a premade template of 9 photo squares. I deleted some of the squares as I only had 4 photos to work with. I added a strip of designer series paper and created a mat in a coordinating colour. I copied the frogs from another template page in the Hoppy Memories kit included in the program, added the stitching on the left, the staple on each picture and for the final touch…I put drop shadows on everything! It took me less than 30 minutes to make and the changes to this page and add the photo's.

My new treats bucket

Posted on October 22, 2009October 21, 2009 by Josee

While I was at my Founder's Circle Trip, we were supplies 24-7 with candy in the hospitality room. Of course, I couldn't help myself every day going to enjoy all the yummies. I decided on my way home that I had to do a mini version of it in my stamp room. So, I used a cute little bucket and it is not filled with candies for all my studio guests to enjoy!

Of course I had to decorate it using Decor Elements  and the best part is this cost me less than $8 to make!

Before…boring, boring, boring!

After…cute, cute, cute!

Since we're talking about my studio, here's a page I made just for my studio:

This morning, I also have a big WELCOME to send out to Lise-Anne who just joined my wonderful team of demonstrators…congrats on joining the best company around! Lise-Anne just hosted a party last weekend, earned over $150 worth of products free including stamp sets & products of her choice…really how could she not resist joining as a demonstrator?! We had a blast!

Apple Picking and Reading with Nana page using My Digital Studio

Posted on October 21, 2009October 20, 2009 by Josee

I'm back today with some pages I created last week using My Digital Studio.

Right now, I'm finding it so important to preserve our memories…we found out last month that my Mother has lung cancer and I'm doing all I can to make sure my kids have lots of happy memories of their Nana. We went out last weekend with a fabulous photographer from our church to take photos of all of us together…and I'll definitely be making some pages and bound books for each of my kids of themselves with their Nana. Thanks Kristen, you really rock! You can see some of our photo's on her site here in the album called "Strength for Nana".

When a loved one gets ill, it really does make you take some time to reflect on the important things of life. We've been told by the doctors that my Mom is in Stage 3 and it has spread into some of her lymph nodes and we have a very important appointment this Thursday to find out what the treatment will be. I'm really hoping we'll get some good news that they are optimistic in the treatment. Please think of us on Thursday!

If you find that I'm behind a bit in my emails, please be patient with me. I am still working my office hours, but, with the busy Christmas season and the news of my Mother, I'm a somewhat behind. Thanks for your understanding!

On a FUN note….make sure you go check out my NEW CLASS PAGE  where I've added some fun new classes to come to! I've added a new class that I'll be running monthly called "Card Class" where you'll get to make 6 different card and the only cost to you is a $25 order placed that night! Each month you'll get to make 6 new cards…come monthly or just come to one! Hope to stamp with you soon!

Christmas Stationery using My Digital Studio

Posted on October 20, 2009October 19, 2009 by Josee

It’s so easy to create with My Digital Studio. I love how quickly I can create with the program. I hear all the time from ladies: "I don’t have time to scrapbook"…and believe me, I know where you’re coming from. I have the same feelings when it comes to finding the time to capture my family’s memories.

But, the problem is…I have the Mommy Guilt…I want to have scrapbook pages of my kids…I find they just love to look at them and I know they’ll reallly appreciate them when they get older but I can never seem to find the time. Finally, I have found the cure to this guilt through MY DIGITAL STUDIO! I’m not kidding ladies, this program is super fast and easy to use…I can create pages in minutes and I’ve even started teaching my 9-year old how to use it and she’s made 2 pages already.

It does so much more than just scrapbook page though, today I created some Christmas stationery in exactly 2 minutes:

I even created some note paper the other day:

To create this paper, I started with an 8 1/2x 11 page in My Digital Studio and added a strip of designer paper at the top, added my embellishments, grouped everything together and copied it to the middle of the page. I thought adding the little birds at the bottom of my note paper screamed CUTE…which of course was the look I was going for. I can than print it with the smallest margin possible and then cut the paper in 4. Easy peasy lemon squeezy…as my 8 year old would say! ðŸ™‚
