Flurry of Wishes Emboss Resist Christmas Card

Good Morning!

Welcome back! I've got a pretty and non- traditional Christmas card for you today. When I first saw this snowflake stamp set, I thought they would look pretty done with the emboss resist technique. I like how it turned out!

I started with a Blushing Bride cardstock base and added a layer of Whisper White. Then, on a sheet of watercolor paper I stamped the snowflakes with Versamark and then heat embossed them with White Stampin' emboss powder. Then, I took a Stampin' Spritzer with some Pool Party ink and water and gave the paper a spritz of color (making sure that the area was well protected from an over-spray mess!!). I used a tissue to wipe any ink off the snowflakes themselves and allowed that layer to dry.

The sentiment was stamped in Basic Black and punched out using the Washi Label punch- then trimmed a little off the top and bottom so that it could be matted on a Washi Label punch out from Blushing Bride cardstock. That was then adhered to the dried, spritzed layer.

Before adhering the spritzed layer to the card front, I wrapped some Silver Thread around it adhering it to the back. I then added a snowflake from the Winter Wonderland Embellishments and some Blushing Bride Sequin Trim.

Butterfly Basics & Watercolor Wash Thank You Card

So, today I thought I would show you this pretty thank you card! Of course, just changing the sentiment on this card you can create a gorgeous birthday or a congratulations card! You will love how easy it is to create this beautiful card! wonderful wings, thank you card, hand stamped card, butterfly, big shot

This card starts with a base of Perfect Plum and then a layer of Whisper White. The Watercolor Wash was then stamped with Smoky Slate and then the sentiment and butterfly were stamped in Perfect Plum.

The butterfly was stamped again on Whisper White and cut with the matching Butterfly Thinlit, and then the larger butterfly thinlit was used to cut the Perfect Plum cardstock. Both butterflies were adhered to the card front, with a Stampin' Dimensional between the two.

As a final touch, a Metal Rimmed Pearl was added. I just love the way this card turned out- so pretty!

Snow Place Penguin Christmas Card

Good Morning!

I just love this penguin from the Snow Place stamp set! He (she?) is so cute! Today's card is actually a variation on the snowlflake card we will be making in my November card class. I loved that just using a different stamp set created such a different look! In fact, if you were at my class at Creativ Festival, you may recognize this one 🙂

Snow Place Christmas Card, hand made christmas card, hand stamped, glimmer paper, bow builder punch, penguin, cute and easy card

Use a card base of Thick Whisper White cardstock. Start by stamping the penguin as shown in Bermuda Bay ink on regular Whisper White cardstock, then stamp the little snowflakes around them in Pool Party.

Stamp the sentiment, then adhere the stamped layer to the mat and adhere to the card base.

Punch the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper two times with the Bow Builder punch; assemble your bow with glue dots and attach to the card above the sentiment
