Good Morning!

Friday night I had several wonderful ladies over for my new Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration Open House! What a fun night! Thanks to all the lovely ladies for joining me! My youngest daughter was a great help too! You never know, she just might be following in my foosteps 🙂

Here is the Make & Take card we made at the open house…this card features the NEW Beautiful You stamp set. So pretty! 

How To Make It:

Start by cutting and scoring the Calypso Coral cardbase.

Then, run it through the Big Shot in the Fluttering Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

Stamp the woman dancing and the sentiment from the Beautiful You stamp set in Basic Black Archival Ink on Shimmery White cardstock. Allow that to dry or heat set with the Heat Tool so it does not smudge when you color it.

While the stamped image dries, cut the Silver Satin Ribbon and trim the ends with scissors. Adhere to the cardbase with Mini Glue Dots.

Die cut the flower using the May Flowers Framelits from Daffodil Delight cardstock and set aside.

Now that the ink has dried on your stamped image, you can die cut the image using the Stitched Shape Framelits dies. Then color the image using the Calypso Coral and Daffodil Delight Watercolor pencils (from the new Watercolor Pencils set) and a Blender Pen. Use the Old Olive watercolor pencil to color the ground under her.

Take the stamped die cut and adhere the die cut flower to the back using Mini Glue Dots. Then use SNAIL Adhesive to adhere that to the cardbase.

As a final touch, add a Falling In Love Embellishment with a Mini Glue Dot to the corner of the stamped die cut.

Tonight is my open house to celebrate the NEW Occasions Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration! I look forward to seeing you there!

Today, I've got a few more cards to show you from the 2017 Occasions catalogue. These stamp sets are perfect for making cards for kids and babies, moms-to-be and for the kid at heart 🙂

The Moon Baby stamp set is such a sweet stamp set perfect for baby shower cards, baby gifts, welcome baby cards and could even be used to create some baby room decor or baby birthday card! So cute and a great set for coloring or watercoloring as well.

The Little Cuties stamp set is another great stamp set perfect for the little ones in your life, but the images and sentiments in the stamp set are also great for Easter cards are birthday cards. This stamp set is perfect for watercoloring the images too.

The Yummy in My Tummy stamp set features these two super cute monster stamp images along with the two sentiments shown here and a heart stamp- perfect for Valentine goodie boxes and bags, Valentine cards and of course birthday cards too! The larger monsters tummy is perfect for stamping on or die cutting to create a little window or shaker card.

Now, if you have older kids who love to cook or bak, the Perfect Mix stamp set could be the perfect stamp set for making cards for them. It's also perfect for any occasion, including stamped cards for your sweetheart. 🙂  You will love the pun sentiments that go with the baking images. You can find this stamp set on page 35 of the 2017 Occasions Catalogue.

Last, but no least is the Day At the Beach stamp set, which includes 11 summer inspired stamp images, great for watercoloring too! There are no sentiments in this stamp set, but add any one of our sentiment stamp sets, like the Suite Sentiments stamp set or the All Things Thanks stamp set and you will be all set to create some fun summer cards. You can see this stamp set on page 34 of the 2017 Occasions catalogue.

The Cake Crazy stamp set coordinates wonderfully with the Candle Border Punch too! Love the look of the sentiment as layers of a crazy birthday cake!
