Wonderland Christmas Card

Hello!

Today is the first day of December!! I honestly don't know where November went! I don't know if it's because we haven't had much snow fall yet, but it felt like Christmas was still a long ways away until I looked at the calendar today-wow- it really hit me! Time to get moving on my Christmas to do list!

Wonderland Christmas card

Start by folding the Whisper White cardstock in half to make card base. Ink snowflakes with Whisper White craft ink pad and stamp all over Night of Navy cardstock – set aside to dry. Carefully stamp the sentiment and then the trees onto the vellum cardstock with Night of Navy ink. Pour clear embossing powder over stamped images and heat set with heat tool.

Holding vellum cardstock on top of night of navy cardstock, making sure all corners are aligned, punch holes for silver cording. Thread silver cording through holes, tie a knot in front and then tie your bow. OR, cut 2 pieces of cording and thread 1^st piece through and tie in back and then make a separate bow and adhere to front with glue dots. The cording holds the vellum to the night of navy cardstock without adhesive.

Adhere the card front to Whisper White cardstock base.

Oh, Come All Ye Faithful Christmas Card

Hello! Happy Friday! Black Friday- I hope you are shopping from the comfort of home today and not battling line ups at the stores! Don't forget, you can shop for great deals in Stampin' Up's ONLINE EXTRAVAGANZA!!

Here is today's card share:

o come all ye faithful christmas card

How to Make It:

Cut all cardstock, then Fold ½ sheet of very vanilla cardtock and lay gold foil paper on front of card – do not adhere
Open card up and lay on magnetic platform – position 2.” square framelit over top of gold/vanilla layer (it will cut both at same time)
Lay vellum piece under opening and mark gently with pencil
Position 2.5” square framelit over marked area and die cut (remember this framelit is .5” bigger so you will not see any lines after cutting)
Layer vellum to gold foil front – I chose to run a strip of adhesive where I would place the ribbon and use one glue dot in each upper corner
Layer ribbon (gold satin first, then crochet trim over top edge of satin) to front of vellum/gold piece and fold ends to back of card
Adhere to front of vanilla base centering openings
Emboss wisemen and verse on scrap vanilla cardstock
Emboss Joseph/Mary in opening of very vanilla cardstock
Cut wise with paper snips, tuck under edge of ribbon
Cut verse and adhere
Tie Bow with crochet trim adhere
Add large metal rimmed pearl and you are ready to sign the inside of the card!

Measurement:

Very Vanilla Cardstock – 1 piece 8.5” x 4.25”, 1 scrappiece to use for wiseman, verse Gold Foil – 4” x 5.25” Vellum piece – 3.75 x 5”
Ribbon – approx. 5.5” for front of card of satin & crochet for bow – length will depend on how big you want loops/tails

Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends! I hope you enjoy a great day with friends and family, and LOTS of food! 🙂

Lighthearted Leaves thanksgiving card

How To Make It:

1. Fold 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” piece of Crumb Cake cardstock in half to form card base. Burnish with bone folder. Stamp leaf in crumb cake around outer edges. Attach Early Espresso cardstock and set layered card base aside.

2. Stamp leaf in Early Espresso onto large Very Vanilla scrap. Color with Cajun Craze; Crumb Cake; Perfect Plum & Crushed Curry Markers. Cut out with leaf Framelit.

3. Stamp greeting in Early Espresso onto lower right hand corner of Very Vanilla and attach to layered card base.

4. Tie bow using Gold Cording around leaf stem and secure with a Glue Dot. Attach to layered card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals

5. Enjoy!

Crumb Cake: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”
Early Espresso: 3” x 4-1/2”
Very Vanilla: 2-3/4” x 4” & large scrap

Garden In Bloom Thinking of You card

Today's card is a little different- it's not a Christmas card! 😉

How to Make It:

1. Stamp outline of the of the flowers on the Whisper White panel, and 1 on a piece of scrap White.

2. Stamp 2nd piece of the 2-step flowers and leaves in the colors shown.

3. Stamp greeting in Smokey Slate on White panel.

4. Cut out Marina Mist flower from scrap and attach to White panel with Dimensionals.

5. Attach Rhinestone Jewels.

6. Assemble card: vellum with Snail, and white flower panel with dimensionals.
