Posted on April 5, 2017April 1, 2017 by Josee

Good day! I am back with another stamped birthday card using the Happy Celebrations stamp set from Stampin' Up's 2017 Occasions Catalogue. I love the way this card came together with the colors and shapes in the back ground.

I started out with a cardbase of Pool Party cardstock, then cut a layer of Rich Razzleberry cardstock and adhere to the cardfront.

Then, I stamped the circles and triangles from the Happy Celebrations stamp set over the debossed 'Happy' in Pool Party ink, Rich Razzleberry ink and Peekaboo Peach ink.

With Basic Black ink I stamped the Happy & Birthday to you using the stamps from the Happy Celebrations stamp set and adhered the Whisper White layer to the card front.

Happy Celebrations stamp set-stamped birthday card

Posted on April 4, 2017April 1, 2017 by Josee

Good Morning! I have been having some fun lately with the Happy Celebrations stamp set and I am just loving the multitude of looks that can be created with this stamp set! Here is today's card…a little fun with Bermuda Bay and Peekaboo Peach for a fun stamped birthday card.

stamped birthday card using Happy Celebrations stamp set, Celebrations Duo Embossing Folder, Stampin Up

How To Make This Stamped Birthday Card:

I started this card with a base of Bermuda Bay cardstock.

On a sheet of Whisper White I embossed the 'Happy' with the Celebrations Duo Textured Impressions Embossing Folder in the middle of the peice of cardstock. I then rubbed Bermuda Bay ink over the debossed Happy and then used the Peekaboo Peach ink to stamp the paint smears stamp from the Happy Celebrations stamp set over the debossed word.

Then, with Bermuda Bay ink, I stamped the 'Happy' word twice above and below the debossed 'Happy' using the stamps from the Happy Celebrations stamp set.

Then, I cut the Whisper White cardstock to fit around the stamped words and cut the Peekaboo Peach cardstock to mat under the white layer. Before adhering these two layers I added some Bermuda Bay 1/8" Stitched Ribbon, adhering it to the back of the Whisper White layer. Once both layers were adhered together, I tied an extra piece of ribbon to the piece that was attached. Both layers were then added to the cardfront.

The 'Birthday To You' from the Happy Celebrations stamp set was stamped a few times on the bottom of the cardfront with White Craft ink, leaving a bit a room between the words to add some tiny Pearls Basics Jewels to finish the card off.

Oh So Succulent stamp set-Friendship card

Posted on March 31, 2017March 27, 2017 by Josee

Hello! Happy Friday! I hope you are looking forward to a great weekend! I'm just hoping it doesn't snow!! Today's card features the pretty flowers from the Oh So Succulent stamp set. I guess technically they are not flowers, they are succulent plants, but the beauty of stamping is that you can make them whatever you want!

Friendship card, Oh So Succulent stamp set, Suite Sentiments stamp set, Stampin Up

How To Make This Hand Stamped Friendship Card:

I started this card with a base of Early Espresso cardstock and then added a layer of Sweet Sugarplum cardstock.

On a layer of Whisper White cardstock, I stamped the bold flowers stamps from the Oh So Succulent stamp set in Sweet Sugarplum ink for the larger flowers and Blushing Bride ink for the smaller flowers, as shown.

Then, I went over the larger Sweet Sugarplum flowers with the outline stamp inked up with Rich Razzleberry ink. The smaller flower outlines were stamped in Sweet Sugarplum ink.

I then added some of the circles from the Playful Backgrounds stamp set in Early Espresso ink and then adhered the stamped layer to the cardfront.

I cut a strip of Blushing Bride cardstock and then a smaller strip of Whisper White to layer on top. Both strips were punched at the ends with the Banner Triple Punch.

To finish of the card, I added a small Blushing Bride enamel heart from the Subtles Enamel Shapes.

Hello! Today's card is a simple, stamped birthday card using the Happy Celebrations stamp set from Stampin' Up's 2017 Occasions Catalogue. With a little easy masking technique, this card was so quick and easy!

***FYI…tomorrow is the last day for SALE-A-BRATION!! Make sure you check out the free items you can choose from and place your order soon!***

How To Make This Hand Stamped Birthday Card:

I started by cutting and scoring a sheet of Whisper White Thick cardstock lengthwise at 4.25"x11", scored at 5.5".

With Rich Razzleberry ink I stamped the 'Happy' solid stamp from the Happy Celebrations stamp set on the card front. Then I stamped the 'Happy' outline stamp in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink over the solid stamped image.

Next, with the same black ink I stamped the 'Birthday to You' as shown.

Then, I took some scrap copy paper (or you can use a larger Post-It Note) to mask off the stamped greeting and then stamped the paint splotches from the Happy Clebrations stamp set with Rich Razzleberry ink and Mint Macaron ink.

Finally, I added a strip of Rhinestones Basics Jewels below the greeting to add some bling and dimension to this no layer birthday card!
