Special Reason Stamp Set-Thank You Card

Welcome back! Today's card is a colorful spring inspired thank you card using the Special Reason stamp set from Stampin' Up's 2017 Occasions Catalogue. Updated: the framelits used for this card are now out of stock! 🙁

How To Make This Hand Stamped Thank You Card:

Start with the Pear Pizzazz cardstock and adhere the 2016-2018 In Color Designer Series Paper on top. Adhere a strip of Pear Pizzazz in the middle.

With the Stylish Stems Framelits Dies, die cut the large flower at the top center of a piece of Whisper White cardstock.

Stamp the sentiment from the Tin of Cards stamp set on the bottom left in Soft Suede ink.

Sponge all over a piece of Peekaboo Peach cardstock with Peekaboo Peach ink and a Sponge Dauber. Adhere the sponged piece behind the die cut flower. Adhere the Whisper White piece to the Pear Pizzazz mat.

Stamp the small flower in Flirty Flamingo and Sweet Sugarplum ink on Whisper White cardstock. Die cut both stamped flowers using the Stylish Stems Framelits Dies. (Updated: These dies are now out of stock and no longer available!)

Die cut two leaves using the Stylish Stems Framelits from a scrap piece of Pear Pizzazz cardstock. Add the diecut flowers with Stampin' Dimensionals and the leaves with Mini Glue Dots.

Add the matted layers to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Use the Clear Wink of Stella to add some sparkle to the die cut flowers.

Biggest Birthday Ever stamp set, Wish Big Framelits, Stampin Up

My Crafty Friends Monday: Biggest Birthday Ever Stamp Set

Each Monday, I like to feature different projects that have inspired me to stamp some cards and I know they'll inspire you to get stamping too! This week we've got some great samples of hand made birthday cards using the Biggest Birthday Ever stamp set. As the name implies, this stamp set is perfect for fun handmade birthday cards, party invitations and party favours! You can see this stamp set on page 21 of Stampin' Up's 2016-2017 Annual Catalogue.

Each project I have to show you today was created by different & amazingly talented stampers and they have been contacted for permission to share their cards.

This week's featured product is the Biggest Birthday Ever stamp set (141508 Photopolymer) and coordinates with the Wish Big Framelits (141476).

Birthday Cake and Ice Cream

This cake card by Helen Ding shows how you can use the various stamps to add to the layers in the cake stamp. The sentiment was from the Better Together stamp set. For more details, you can visit her blog here.

Blow Out the Birthday Candles

Lift Me Up stamp set, Stampin Up, stamped note card

Lift Me Up stamp set- Note Card to Lift Your Spirits

I am back with a cute, stamped note card using the Lift Me Up stamp set from Stampin' Up's 2017 Occasions Catalogue.

How To Make This Hand Stamped Note Card:

Ink the large balloon stamp image with the Dapper Denim, Watermelon Wonder and Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Markers. Huff on the stamp to moisten and stamp on the Whisper White cardstock. Cut out with the large balloon die from the Up & Away Thinlits.

With the Up & Away Thinlits die cut the large clouds from the Silver Glimmer Paper and from Marina Mist cardstock, and die cut a medium cloud from Marina Mist cardstock as well. Adhere the clouds to back of balloon image as shown with your favorite adhesive.

To Create the Clouds:

Take the quarter sheet of any color card stock or copy paper and the three cloud thinlits and cut multiple clouds from the card stock to create a mask.

Adhere the finished mask to a piece of Grid Paper with Washi Tape as shown. Fold the White Notecard and slide it behind the mask.

With a Sponge Dauber, add Soft Sky Ink to the Notecard front through the clouds cut in the mask.

Remove the Notecard and stamp the greeting from the Lift Me Up Stamp Set in Dapper Denim ink on the card front as shown.

Adhere the balloon and clouds to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Adhere Rhinestones Basics Jewels scattered across the card front as shown, with a small row under the greeting to add some extra bling.
