If you know someone who loves to fish or are looking for a masculine stamp set, the “Gone Fishing” stamp set is perfect to create with!

Supplies:

  • Stamp Set/Bundle: Gone Fishing (161542)
  • Cardstock: Very Vanilla Thick (144237), Very Vanilla (101650), Pebbled Path (161722), Silver Foil (156457), Wild Wheat (161752)
  • Ink: Mossy Meadow (147111), Petal Pink (147108), Boho Blue (161650), Calypso Coral (147101), Misty Moonlight (153118), Pecan Pie (161665)
  • Other: Natural Wavy Trim (161517), Adhesive Backed Sparkle Gems (161288), Twisted Rope 3D Embossing Folder (161545)
  • Tools& Accessories: Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653), Take Your Pick (144107), Bone Folder (102300), Paper Trimmer (152392), Paper Snips (103579)
  • Adhesives: Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430), Mini Glue Dots (103683)

Measurements:

  • Very Vanilla Thick Cardstock: 11” x 4 ¼” (scored at 5 ½”)
  • Very Vanilla Cardstock: 5” x 3 ¾” and scrap for elements
  • Pebbled Path: 5 ½” x 4 ¼” to cut out top of fishing tackle box, the rectangle is one of the pieces cut from the middle.

Instructions:

  1. Stamp lots of the elements in Pebbled Path ink and a selection of the colours listed. For the fish I stamped in one colour and sponged a darker colour on the top or bottom to give it a two-tone effect.
  2. Die cut the shapes once stamped.
  3. Stamp the sentiment by inking in Pecan Pie ink and sponging some Mossy Meadow Ink on top to get the two-tone effect. Trim to fit inside the Pebbled Path rectangle.
  4. Cut out some silver foil hooks.
  5. Emboss the Very Vanilla panel using the Twisted Rope 3D Embossing Folder and glue to card front using Multipurpose Glue.
  6. Take two pieces of the Natural Wavy Trim (approx. 4” and 2”) and tease it apart a little to ‘rough it up’
  7. Start by sticking the wavy trim to the bottom right of the card using Mini Glue Dots. Arrange the elements around and on top of the trim until you are happy with it using a mixture of multipurpose glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  8. Add the sentiment and add some further elements to the top left of the card until you are happy with your design.
  9. Finally add a few of the Adhesive Backed Sparkle Gems to complete your card.
