A Reminder To Never Forget

Dimensions:

• Soft Suede: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
• Crumb Cake: 4″ x 5 1/4″  AND  3/4″ x 2 3/4″

Directions:

1. Stamp the small flower on the Crumb Cake cardstock using its matching ink pad.
2. Pour a bit of bleach into a container, use the Small Water Painter to pick up the bleach and sprinkle it on the Crumb Cake cardstock.
3. Tap the Soft Suede Stampin’ Blend on top of the cardstock to add splotches/dots.
4. Use a dauber to pick up Soft Suede ink, then swipe it all around the edges of the cardstock.
5. Use the side of the Paper Snips or scissors to rough up the edges of the cardstock. Adhere the layer to the card.
6. Stamp the large flowers on a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock by first inking it with Versamark then inking it next with the Soft Suede ink pad.
7. Sprinkle Clear Embossing Powder onto the image, tap off the excess then use the Heat Tool to melt the powder.
8. Pick up bleach with the small Water Painter and use it to bleach the inside of the flowers, stems and leaves. The bleach will take out colour from the cardstock. (Tip: make sure you wash your Water Painter with water right away after using bleach)
9. Colour the flowers and leaves with Watercolor Pencils. Use the Water Painter to blend the colours. I used the Real Red pencil on the top of each flower and Pumpkin Pie near the tips, then blended.
10. Use the same methods as above to add Soft Suede and bleach splotches.
11. Cut out the flowers with the 2 7/8″ circle die.
12. Use dauber with Soft Suede ink to add ink to the edges of the circle. Add circle to the card using Dimensionals.
13. Stamp the greeting on the small piece of cardstock using Soft Suede ink. Cut out ends using Paper Snips. Use dauber to add colour to the edges. Add the greeting to the card using Dimensionals.
14. Colour a piece of ribbon using the dark Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blend. Make a bow and add it to the card using Glue Dots.
