One of a Kind

Today, I wanted to play with a different background so I decided to do the Masking Tape Technique. I was too lazy to go downstairs to get the Masking Tape, so I figured I’d just use my Washi Tape instead. 🙂

I picked the 2 colours and created my background before I even decided on the stamp set I wanted. It’s been a while since I used Sea of Textures stamp set and the images in this set are so versatile that I thought it’d be perfect! I really like how it turned out, hope you do too.

Directions:

1. 1. For this technique, you can use Washi Tape or Masking Tape. You can grab different sized tapes or the same size depending on what you want it to look like.
   2. Cut a piece of tape longer than your cardstock, place it on your ink pad.
   3. Press it down using your finger then remove the tape carefully.
   4. Place the tape on your cardstock and press down to transfer the ink to your cardstock.
   5. Each time you place the tape on the cardstock, you’ll get a different looking line. Have fun with it! 🙂
