Today, I wanted to play with a different background so I decided to do the Masking Tape Technique. I was too lazy to go downstairs to get the Masking Tape, so I figured I’d just use my Washi Tape instead. 🙂
I picked the 2 colours and created my background before I even decided on the stamp set I wanted. It’s been a while since I used Sea of Textures stamp set and the images in this set are so versatile that I thought it’d be perfect! I really like how it turned out, hope you do too.
The Sea of Textures stamp set is retiring! Don’t be disappointed, get it before it disappears!
Directions:
-
- For this technique, you can use Washi Tape or Masking Tape. You can grab different sized tapes or the same size depending on what you want it to look like.
- Cut a piece of tape longer than your cardstock, place it on your ink pad.
- Press it down using your finger then remove the tape carefully.
- Place the tape on your cardstock and press down to transfer the ink to your cardstock.
- Each time you place the tape on the cardstock, you’ll get a different looking line. Have fun with it! 🙂
