Good Morning!

Need an idea for a birthday gift? This Big Day Stamp Set, available for FREE when you spend $60 during Sale-A-Bration, is a great stamp set to use for all your birthday ideas! This is a great way to use it to create a gift card and card all in one!

Supplies used:

Measurements: 

• Very Vanilla: 2.25” square
• Coastal Cabana: 2.5” square
• Crushed Curry: 1” x 8.5”
• Calypso Coral: 4.25” x 5.5”

Instructions:

1. Stamp “Celebrate Your Big Day” with Memento black ink on Very Vanilla square. Color using markers ~OR~ ink pads and Aqua Painters. Mount on Coastal Cabana card stock. Optional: Add two sequins using glue dots.
2. Find the slits inside the Gift Card Enclosure…PUT THEM AT THE TOP. Stamp “Happy Birthday” inside the gift card enclosure just above the bottom score line using Memento black ink. Stamp “And perhaps a little ice cream” just above the Happy Birthday image. Color “Birthday” with watercolors or markers.
3. Emboss the Calypso Coral card stock using embossing folder and Texture Boutique machine. Adhere to the front side (opposite of the side you stamped) on one half circle of the enclosure. Cut off excess and adhere leftover to the half circle directly across from the first embossed side.
4. Fold enclosure shut (like a box) and wrap Crushed Curry strip (not too tightly) around the enclosure with ends in the front. Secure with glue dot. (Optional: Wrap 1/2” x 8.5” strip of DSP around Curry belly band). Secure the front connection of the belly band with two dimensionals (over the edges) and cover with the BIG DAY focal point layers.

I don't know about you, but I just LOVE the new Sheltering Tree stamp set! It is so versatile and I love all the different card looks I've seen. Here is another version:

Measurements:

Pear Pizzaz- 5.5”x11”, score at 4.25”

Vellum cardstock: cut a strip approx. 1”x 3”

Instructions:

1. Cut the card base from  Pear Pizzaz, then cut a scallop oval from the Melon Mambo and the next size oval from the Whisper White

2. Stamp the ‘grass’ using Pear Pizzaz ink, and the tree & swing using Early Espresso

3. Ink up the ‘leaves’ using Pear Pizzaz, then color in some shaded areas with the Old Olive marker and some ‘blossom’ areas using the Melon Mambo marker; remoisten the ink with a light spray of water from a spray bottle before stamping on the Whisper White oval over the Early Espresso tree

4. Cut the strip of vellum and stamp the sentiment with the Tuxedo Black Memento ink and dry with a Heat Tool

5. Punch the banner end of the vellum using the Hexagon Punch and adhere (with a glue dot on the left side where the embellishment will be) to the Whisper White oval layer; run the layers through the Big Shot with the oval die again to cut the vellum to the oval shape

6. Adhere a Something Borrowed Embellishment flower with a glue dot hiding the glue dot under the vellum layer
