Hand Stamped Cards with Josee Smuck-Stampin' Up! Canada Demonstrator

Good Morning! 

Thanks for stopping by the blog today! I've got this cute card to show, using one of my favorite stamp sets from the new catalogue: Sprinkles of Life and the Tree Builder punch.

It really is a simple card with the Watermelon Wonder cardstock base, then a layer of Cucumber Crush on top and then some Whisper White cardstock. The ice cream cone is stamped with Delightful Dijon, then the ice cream scoops were stamped on Whisper White and punched out with the Tree Builder punch. Each was stamped again with Versamark and a sprinkle of Heat & Stick powder was added and then heated with the Heat Tool- once melted some Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter was sprinkled on to add a little sparkle to the scoops. They were adhered to stack on top of the cone with some Stampin' Dimensionals. To finish it off, the sentiment was stamped with Watermelon Wonder.

Good Morning!

Welcome to this month's 'Baby' Blog Hop!  I have to admit, I don't usually buy alot of baby stamps, so it was a challenge to come up with something for the baby theme, but I rose to the challenge!  I LOVE the way this turned out! and I LOVE when you can use a stamp set for so many different themes 🙂

I used the Baker's Box Thinlits to cut the Mint Macaron cardstock and folded the cut out at all the score lines before I ran in back through the Big Shot in the Fluttering Textured Embossing Folder. I added a square of Vellum Carstock to the window cut out, adhering with some Tear & Tape Adhesive. I continued with the Tear & Tape Adhesive and assembled the Baker's Box.

Then, I stamped 'For Baby' from the B.Y.O.P stamp set in Tuxedo Black ink on Whisper White cardstock, then stamped 'girl' from the Endless Birthday Wishes stamp set in Blushing Bride. The little heart is also from the B.Y.O.P stamp set- I stamped it with Blushing Bride and gave it a little texture with a roll in some Melon Mambo ink. Once everything was stamped, I cut the Whisper White piece with the Tags & Labels Framelits dies, and cut a larger tag from the next size up in Blushing Bride cardstock. I then used the Updated Essentials Paper Piercing templates to pierce a border around the tags. 

You could punch a hole in the top of the tags and thread your ribbon through it, but I chose to adhere the tag right on the Baker's Box and thread the Venetian Crochet Trim and Blushing Bride Sequin Trim through the holes in the top of the Baker's Box, tying them in a bow together. 

Now I've got a super cute package to put a small gift in-like some baby socks or a pacifier or two- maybe even a gift card or money!  With a little change in the stamped sentiment, this would totally make a cute party favor for a baby shower too!! Just add some candy or chocolates inside it instead!

I've got a quick and colorful card I want to show you today!

Supplies used: 

Measurements:  

• Cucumber Crush 8 ½ x 5 ½ Score at 4 ¼
• Whisper White 5 ¼ x 4           

Instructions:

On the Whisper White layer, stamp the sun in the upper left corner in Daffodil Delight ink, then stamp each color from left to right using the rainbow arch stamp starting with Real Red. Stamp your hearts in Real Red and then stamp the Rainbow words in Tuxedo Black ink over the rainbow. Stamp the sentiment in Pacific Point. Adhere the Whisper White to the Cucumber Crush card base
