Today's card is a super simple, one layer stamped thank you card using the Just Add Text stamp set from Stampin' Up's 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue. Sometimes you just need a quick and easy card!
How To Make This Hand Stamped Card:
First thing you would do is cut and score the Crumb Cake cardstock for the cardbase and set it aside while you get the next step ready.
Make an embossing frame template:
The next step adds a bit of time to your quick and easy card, but once it's done, you can do more cards using the template! Take two thin pieces of chipboard about the size of your cardfront (mine was bigger, so I just made marks on it where my card front would be)- take the largest die from the Ovals Collection Framelits and position it in the middle of the chipboard- you can tape it down so it does not move while you run it through the Big Shot. You will do this for both sheets. This will create two chipboard frames for your cardfront that you can now glue together to create a thicker frame. Using this 'frame' will allow you to only emboss the outside edge of the oval shape, while leaving the oval middle for stamping!
Note: You may need to play around with your Big Shot's layering sandwich. You don't want to force a TOO THICK sandwich through your Big Shot. You may need to remove the Big Shot Cutting Pad and use a few other pieces of chipboard instead.
Run the cardfront through the Big Shot in the Oh My Stars Textured Impressions Embossing Folder with the newly created template on top. You should get an embossed impression around the cardfront with a spot in the middle where you can stamp the greeting from the Just Add Text stamp set.
Then, take the circle stamp from the Daisy Delight stamp set and stamp the circles around the greeting with Whisper White craft ink and Berry Burst Stampin' ink.
To finish off the card, add some Berry Burst 1/2" Finely Woven Ribbon wrapped around the card front.
