Welcome to this month's Spook-tacular Blog Hop! I've got a super cute card to share! I have to admit, I don't usually make Halloween cards, so I don't often have alot of Halloween stamp sets on hand, so when I do need to make a Halloween project I have to get creative!
I had a little fun creating this card, ripping up some sheets of Very Vanilla was actually a little therapeutic 😉 then I 'dirtied' them up with some Baked Brown Sugar ink to make it look old and worn. Be prepared to get your fingers dirty inking up those small strips!
I adhered and layered the ripped strips onto a layer of Basic Black cardstock cut to the approximate size I would need to then cut it out with the Top Note Die. I then layered the die cut mummy onto a strip of Elegant Eggplant cut with the Edgelits Finishing Touches die and a layer of the Typeset Designer Series Paper cut to size.
I used the Little Labels Punch Pack, a 1/2" circle punch and a 1/4" circle punch to create the eyes.
Then I used the Chalk Talk Framelits Die to create the sentiment, which was stamped with the new Mingle All the Way stamp set from the new 2014 Holiday Catalogue! Then for a finishing touch I added some Candy Dots.
I think it turned out pretty darned cute! So much for a scary mummy! lol!
