Two Great Classes to choose from!

A Beautiful Thing Class- $55 Tuesday Jan 29 7pm
This fun class includes the Stamp set and Rub ons for $55!

This is a wonderful class where your stamp set (A Beautiful Thing) and a package of our new rub ons (Eastern Elegance) are included in the class fee!
 
 
We’ll be making four cards using designer paper, Build-a-Brad, a pretties accent and other fun accessories! Don’t be late registering since registration is limited.

This fun class includes the Stamp set and Aquapainter for $58!
 
 
I absolutely love this set and just had to create a class for it. This class includes your stamp set (Embrace Life) and 1 Aquapainter for you to keep!
 
You’ll love watercoloring these 4 cards using our ink pads and watercolor crayons. We’ll be using Ginger Blossom Designer Paper…one of my absolute favourite new papers!
 
Space is limited and you must register and pre-pay by February 8th to allow for shipping time!

Happy 2008!!!

Can you believe it’s 2008? I hope you had a lovely New Year’s! My family and I enjoyed the amazing Ottawa Fireworks display downtown to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the choice of Ottawa as the Capital of Canada. I think it was the BEST fireworks display we’ve ever seen. Not sure it this will work, but, if you want to see it…click HERE to see a You Tube video of it. It’s worth checking out!  

The fireworks were just before 7pm and then drove over to the Centrepointe skating rink for skating and hot chocolate. It was a really nice evening. We decided on New Year’s day that we hadn’t had enough turkey yet…so, we made another. Yum, yum, yum!!! I think we’ll do a New Year’s Turkey ever year!

I asked my oldest daughter to choose a couple of cards to feature on my blog today and these were her top picks. These 2 cards were received in my latest card swap with members of my downline. We swapped cards using stamps out of the Spring-Summer Collection Preview Catalogue. The stamp set, HAPPY HEART DAY, is part of the Valentine’s Day Bundle Promotion.

 

 

This first card was made by Linda Willman.

I love how she used a part circle to stamp the elephant on.

Recipe: 
Stamp Set: Happy Heart Day
CS: Basic Gray, Going Gray, Naturals White, Purely Pomegranate, Pretty in Pink
Ink: Basic Black, Assorted inks used to colour images
Accessories: Basic Gray Tafetta Ribbon, uni-ball Signo Gel Pen, Paper Piercing template and tool

 

 The second card was created by Jacynthe Gauthier.

 It’s hard to see from the scan, but, the clear embossed flowers on this card are a really lovely touch! 

 

Recipe: 
Stamp Set: C’est la fete des coeurs (French-Happy Heart Day)
CS: Elegant Eggplant, Regal Rose, River Rock and Whisper White
Ink: Versamark, Basic Black
Accessories: Clear Embossing Powder, Ribbon, Watercolor Crayons
