Measurements:
- Thick Basic White Cardstock: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2” &2” x 6”; scraps for birdhouse die cut and sentiment
- Basic Black Cardstock: 53/8” x 4 1/8”, scrap pieces for birdhouse die cuts
- Country Lace Designer Series Paper: 4” x 5 1/4”
- Basic Beige Cardstock: 3 1/2” x 4 1/4”
Instructions:
- Score and fold the 8 ½” x 5 ½” Thick Basic White cardstock at 4 ¼” to create the card base.
- Add the Basic Black cardstock and Country Lace Designer Series Paper layering panels to the front of the card base.
- Stamp the birdhouse onto the Basic Beige cardstock using the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Die cut with the coordinating birdhouse dies. After die cutting, texture emboss with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder.
- Using the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, stamp the bird, 3 each of the single flowers and 3 each of the multi- flowers onto the2” x 6” piece of Thick Basic White cardstock. Color the flower images with the Flirty Flamingo, Balmy Blue, Fresh Freesia, Lemon Lolly and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. Color the bird using the Crumb Cake, Balmy Blue and Light Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends. After coloring, die cut the images with the coordinating Country Birdhouse Dies.
- Complete the birdhouse by die cutting the roof panels from the scraps of Basic White Thick and Basic Black cardstocks. Attach to the birdhouse with adhesive.
- Insert and attach the bird to the birdhouse. Note: you want the bird to “peek out” of the birdhouse.
- Stamp the chain in the center of the designer series paper top layer panel using Tuxedo Black ink. Add the birdhouse to the card front using dimensionals.
- Stamp “happy birthday” using the Tuxedo Black ink onto a scrap of Basic White cardstock. Trim around sentiment and angle the ends to mimic the angles on the birdhouse. Attach with adhesive to the birdhouse panel.
- Arrange the flowers around the birdhouse and attach with mini glue dots and dimensionals.
- Complete the card by embellishing with Iridescent Pearls Basic Jewels.
