Hi friends,

This is a card that I received at Founders Circle in our swap made by Rolanda Patton and I loved it so much that I thought I'd make a video about it and also use it in my card class this Friday!

This card is super simple to make but so darn cute! It uses the "Moving Forward" stamp set which Stampin' Up! donates $3 to the Ronald McDonald House each time one is sold.

Hi friends, today is a short post…I'm trying to finish off my 120 cards I have to make for the Founder's Circle Trip in a week and a bit and also for some of my CLASSES coming up.

We also had a scary night last night, my son had an anaphylactic reaction to something he ate at a party and we had to give him an epipen and rush him to the hospital. Thankfully all is ok today, but, it was quite an awakening for us. I have to admit, we had become a little lax about letting him eat questionable foods, but, not anymore. Believe me, I am hugging my kids lots today!!! We had amazing paramedics, doctors and nurses!

Video: One Sheet Wonder with Snowflake Soiree

Happy Friday everyone! I can't believe this is the long weekend before school starts. We've had a great summer and I can't wait to get on a regular schedule once my kids go to school. This is going to be the first time that all 3 kids go to full-time school…I've waited 12 years for this moment!!! 🙂 🙂

Today card is absolutely stunning and I thought I'd make a video tutorial to show you a short cut on making the background for this! This card was made by Michelle Sturgeon, one of the very talented Inky Divas in my group of fun stampers!

I love how she's used non-traditional colours and added some fantastic sparkle with the Silver Glimmer Paper!

Here's a Quick Tip Video on creating a "One-Sheet Wonder" background:

Stamp Sets: Snowflake Soiree wood 127922 cling 127925
Paper: Cherry Cobbler 119685; Pink Pirouette 111351; Whisper White CS 100730; Silver Glimmer Paper 124005
Ink: Cherry Cobbler 126966; Pink Pirouette 126956
Accessories: Snow Flurry Bigz Die 127813; Big Shot 113439; Scallop Trim Border Punch 118402

Cut Cherry Cobbler cardstock to 81/2 x 5 1/2 for card base & 5 1/2 x 2 1/2. Use Scallop Trim Border Punch on the edge of the cardstock making sure to line up with your guide.
Cut Pink Pirouette cardstock to 5 1/4 x 4 and stamp snowflakes using Pink Pirouette ink to create background.
Stamp background using Cherry Cobbler ink & Pink Pirouette ink as show in video above.
Cut out snowflakes with Big Shot and Snow Flurry Bigz Die using Silver Glimmer Paper.
