Bubbles & Bubbly

Do you ever have one of those days where you think this would be the perfect end?! I have to admit, I think this all the time…lol…but I never seem to get in a bubble with some bubbly! Maybe it’s time! 😉

Measurements:

  • Smoky Slate (base): 5 ½” x 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”
  • Thick Whisper White (layer): 4” x 5 ¼”
  • Thick Whisper White (banner): 5/8” x 2 ¾”
  • Thick Whisper White (bathtub): 3” x 4”
  • Thick Whisper White (towel): scrap
  • So Saffron: 4 1/8” x 5 3/8”

Instructions:

  1. Squeeze the closed ink pad of the Smoky Slate pad. Open the pad and pick up color from inside the lid using the Aqua Painter. Carefully add color along the bottom 1” of the Thick Whisper White layer as shown. Add additional color near the tub to create a shadow. The paper will pill from the water, which is fine since you’re after a wet bathroom floor look. Let dry.
  2. Stamp the greeting using Memento ink on the Thick Whisper White banner. Adhere to the upper left corner of the card base using Dimensionals.
  3. Stamp the bathtub and towel images using Memento ink on the Thick Whisper White cardstock pieces. Color in the images using the Stampin’ Blends. Cut out the images using your scissors.
  4. Line up the bathtub image on the Thick Whisper White layer for placement. Stamp the bubbles image using Memento ink on the layer. Adhere this layer to the So Saffron layer. Adhere these layers to the card base.
  5. Adhere the bathtub and towel images using Dimensionals. Color in the bathtub, towel, champagne glass and bubbles using the Clear Wink of Stella.
  6. Adhere several sequins to the stamped bubbles using Fine-Tip Glue. Let dry.

Your friendship warms my heart

Hey friends…who’s ready for Christmas cards?! I love making cards for Christmas and I love to use non-traditional colours. Some of you may already know this, but, pink is my favourite colour and when I get to use it on a Christmas card…it makes me happy! 😉

Directions:

1. Cut Petal Pink cardstock to 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″; score and fold at 4 1/4″
2. Stamp snowflakes randomnly on Pool Party cardstock using Pool Party ink.
3. Use Big Shot to cut out __” circle using Layering Circles Framelits in center of cardstock.
4. Tie a bow on right hand side of cardstock going around inside circle and back of cardstock.
5. Stamp greeting on a scrap piece of white cardstock with Versamark ink, sprinkle with Silver Embossing Powder and use heat tool to emboss. Punch out shape and adhere to card; snip off end.

6. Stamp snowman on whisper white using Memento black ink.
7. Colour in using Blends Markers, the use paper snips to cut out.

8. Use Big Shot to cut out snowflakes using the Blizzard Thinlits.

9. Pop out shapes. If needed use Big Shot Die Brush.

10. Adhere snowflakes to cut out circle using Fine Tip Glue Pen. Take circle and adhere to card under where the cut out circle will be for Pool Party layer.
11. Use dimensionals to attach Pool Party layer to card.
12. Attach Snowman to card using Dimensionals

Fill the Season with Happiness

How are you liking the Holiday Catalogue so far? Many of our stamp sets can be used on their own..but, sometimes it’s fun to combines some together to see what creations you can make; this card uses 3 fun stamp sets!

Measurements:

  • Old Olive: 11 x 4 ¼”; scored at   5 ½”
  • DSP: 4 x 3”
  • Crumb Cake: 4 ¾” x 3”
  • Whisper White: 4 ½”  x 2 ¾”
  • Vellum: 3 ½” x 1 1/8”
  • Thread: 40”

Instructions:

  1. Fold the card base.
  2. Attach the plaid DSP to the card front.
  3. Color 7-9 small rhinestone with the Real Red Dark Blends marker and set aside to dry.
  4. Stamp the jug, with Memento ink on the white cardstock.
  5. Colour the jug with the Blends markers.
  6. Stamp the greenery from the “Peaceful Noel” stamp set into the jug. Use the 3 green colors to create the various shades of green. Stamp the branch image with Soft Suede ink.  You can easily line this up with the photopolymer stamps, but you could also create a small mask for the lip of the jar.
  7. Stamp the Berry Branch from the “Love What you Do Stamp set” with Mossy Meadow ink. Color in some of the Berries with the Cherry Dark Blends marker.
  8. Attach the stamped image to the Crumb Cake mat.
  9. Stamp the saying with Versamark ink on the Vellum cardstock, sprinkle with Copper Embossing Powder and heat set with Heat Tool.
  10. Wrap the edges of the vellum cardstock around the Crumb Cake cardstock. Secure it at the back with Snail adhesive.
  11. Add the colored rhinestones to some of the berries. Use Wink of Stella on the other berries.
  12. Make a puddle of copper thread on the card.
  13. Attach the image/saying with dimensionals to the front of the card.

The Holiday catalogue is filled with amazing new products for fall, Halloween & Christmas. One of the cutest new product collections is the Toil & Trouble suite that contains some adorable designer paper that has super sweet witches! You can use the coordinating framelits to cut out the images from the designer paper! AND the ribbon used on this card…is amazing…Halloween or not…everyone needs this sparkly black ribbon! 😉 

Measurements:

  • Basic Black cardstock   8 ½” x 5 ½:
  • Whisper white cardstock 4” x 5 ¼”
  • Scrap of basic black for large circle
  • Scrap of whisper white for smaller circle

Instructions:

  1. Score and fold the ½ sheet of Basic Black cardstock in half
  2. Ink the Buffalo plaid stamp with pumpkin pie and stamp 4” x 5 ¼” piece of whisper white
  3. Die cut large black circle from Layering circles framelits
  4. Die cut white circle from stitched shapes framelits
  5. Die cut witch from Toil and Trouble designer paper
  6. Stamp white circle with greeting from Trick or Tweet stamp set
  7. Layer white circle onto black circle offsetting to the right as seen in the photo
  8. Layer piece from #7 onto card front
  9. Wrap length of black glittered ribbon around stamped plaid piece and tie into bow
  10. Adhere your layered plaid piece to your fold black cardstock
  11. Use dimensionals and add witch to card front
  12. Add a few of the frosted and clear epoxy shapes
