Christmas Glimmer

Glitter card, oh yah!!! The Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper has 3 amazing colours of glimmer paper!!!

I am in love with these papers and love how easy it is to make a stunning card with them!

Measurements:

Balmy Blue Cardstock- 4 ¼” x 11”
Whisper White Cardstock- 4 ¾” x 3 ½” and 3” x ½” for sentiment
Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper- 4 5/8” x 3 3/8”
Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon- 5”

Instructions:

Fold card base in half at 5 ½”.
Adhere your red glimmer paper to the Whisper White cardstock. Wrap the ribbon around layer and attach to the back with glue dots.
Then attach that whole piece to the Balmy Blue card front with liquid glue.
Stamp your sentiment on the Whisper White banner in Balmy Blue. Flag the end with your paper snips and attach to the card with glue dots. Glue dots are the best adhesive with glimmer paper.
Use your Frost White Shimmer Paint and a sponge dauber to dab some paint on your “merry” sentiment and 3 trees from your Festive Farmhouse Elements. Attach all wooden elements to your card front with glue dots.
Add a few clear Basic Rhinestones and you’re done

Country Home watercolouring

Happy Thursday friends! Here is another fun watercoloured card!

Measurements

Whisper White 11” x 4¼” score at 5½”
Wood Texture Designer Paper 5½” x 4¼”
Cajun Craze 3¼” x 4½”
Watercolor Paper 3” x 4¼”
Gray Granite scrap

Instructions

Adhere the Wood Textures onto the front of whisper white card base.
Stamp the milk can and the flower using StazOn black ink onto the watercolor paper.
Using the aqua painter colour the milk can using Smoky Slate, Soft Suede and Cajun Craze. Colour the flowers and berries in Pumpkin Pie, the leaves in Mossy Meadow and the shadow under the can in Smoky Slate. Let dry.
Add Wink of Stella onto the coloured milk can.
Colour the cotton balls using frosted shimmer paint with a fine tip paint brush.
Punch out half of the Everyday Label punch out of Gray Granite and adhere onto the back of the layer on the center right hand side.
Adhere to Cajun Craze cardstock then to the card front.
Make a 3 loop bow out of linen thread and adhere onto the punched shape.

Autumn Sheltering Tree

If you saw yesterday’s card using the Sheltering Tree and liked it…you’re going to love this one! This one is a little more complex and uses a bunch more supplies…but, isn’t it gorgeous?! 😉

Measurements:

Crumb Cake: 11” x 4 1/4”
Whisper White: 3 1/4” x 4 1/2”, plus scrap for banner

Instructions:

Fold Crumb Cake card stock in half for card base.
Stamp tree with Early Espresso ink onto Whisper White card stock.
Use markers on ‘foliage’ image, tapping the colours onto the stamp until fully inked (real red, crushed curry, garden green, pumpkin pie and cajun craze). Stamp over tree.
Ink ‘grass/ground’ image with Old Olive and stamp at base of tree. Repeat a couple of times, as desired.
Wrap a piece of Real Red Mixed Satin Ribbon around Whisper White card stock, securing on the back.
Glue Chicken Wire element behind the Whisper White layer and adhere to front of card.
Stamp sentiment in Real Red ink onto scrap piece of Whisper White and cut into banner. Use Glue Dot to position on card.
Run a piece of Silver Foil card stock through the Big Shot with small maple leaf die from Seasonal Layers Thinlits. Place cut die inside Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder and run through the Big Shot. Use Mini Dimensionals to add maple leaf to card. Tie a small knot with Braided Linen Trim, fraying the edges, and use glue dot to place on centre of maple leaf die cut.
Use aqua painter with Crumb Cake and Early Espresso ink pads to splatter card.

Hey! Hey! Happy Thursday! Today, I thought I’d share a Christmas card that I think is super cute, I really do love the cute snowmen in the Spirited Snowmen stamp set. I made this card for a card swap with some of my team members. I made 11 of these and will be getting 11 different cards back from other stampers! Hope you like it too! <3

MEASUREMENTS:

Pool Party – 8 ½” x 5 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”
Whisper White – 2″ x 5 ½”
Merry Merlot Glimmer Paper 2 of ¾” x 5 ½”

Directions

1. Fold the card front into the Polka Dots Basics Embossing Folder and run through the Big Shot.
2. Stamp 3 snowmen in different directions on Whisper White cardstock.
3. Use Stampin’ Blends to colour snowmen.
4. Place a strip of Tear & Tape Adhesive to the back of Whisper White layer right to the edges, then place the glimmer paper to layer.
5. Adhere layer to card using Tear & Tape Tape.
6. Stamp greeting on to scrap Whisper White cardstock then cut out using the Bunch of Banners Framelit. Add to card using dimensionals.
