Let’s Catch Up

Dimensions

  • Calypso Coral: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Basic White: 4″ x 5 1/4″  and  2 3/8″ circle die
  • Designer Series Paper (DSP): 1″ x 4″

Directions

    1. Stamp the background using the splatter stamp and the coffee ring stamp on Basic White cardstock using the Pecan Pie ink pad. Adhere the layer to the card.
    2. Adhere the Designer Paper to the card.
    3. Die-cut the 2 3/8″ circle from the Everyday Details Dies with Basic White cardstock.
    4. Stamp the greeting using Pecan Pie ink just above the middle of the circle.
    5. Trace the outside of the Basic White circle on a piece of Calypso Coral cardstock and cut out using Paper Snips Scissors. Adhere the Calypso Coral circle to the back of the Basic White one. (Optional: If you still have the retired Layering Circles Framelit Dies, there is a circle that is perfect to cover the back of the Basic White circle)
    6. Cut out 2 small coffee cups using the die with Calypso Coral cardstock.
    7. Cut out the oval “coffee” using Pecan Pie cardstock.
    8. Use the “coffee” stamp with Pecan Pie ink to cover the Pecan Pie oval pieces. Adhere the 2 pieces together.
    9. Adhere the cup on the right directly to the circle and the cup on the left with a Dimensional. Add the circle to the card using Dimensionals.
    10. Cut the 2 ends of the Polka Dot Trim in a “V”, then use glue dots to adhere them below the circle.
    11. Take 2 pieces of white Baker’s Twine, tie them in a bow and add it to the card with a glue dot folded in half.

Measurements:

  • Early Espresso: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” scored at 4-1/4” then burnished with the Bone Folder and folded, small scrap for coffee mug
  • Calypso Coral: 3-3/4” x 5”, 2-3/4” x 2-3/4”
  • Pecan Pie:3-1/2” x 4-3/4”, 1-1/2” x 4”
  • Basic White: 3” x 1”
  • Smoky Slate: scrap for spoon
  • Designer Series Paper (DSP) (2 patterns as shown): 3-1/4” x 4-1/4” and 2-1/2” x 2-1/2”
  • Natural Trim Ribbon: 2”

Instructions:

  1. Use glue to adhere the Calypso Coral, Pecan Pie, and Designer Paper layers to one another.
  2. Stamp coffee mug with Early Espresso on Designer Paper. Die cut mug and the liquid area using two dies. Trim Early Espresso cardstock to fit the hole at the top of the mug and adhere to back of mug with glue.
  3. Stamp spoon in Smoky Slate ink on same cardstock and die cut.
  4. Die cut 2-1/2” circle of Calypso Coral from Stylish Shapes Dies. Trim a small edge of the circle with your Paper Trimmer then adhere to card front with glue so right cut off edge lines up with Calypso Coral layer on card front.
  5. Stamp sentiment with Early Espresso ink on Basic White then die cut banner so sentiment is off center to left (leaving room for the spoon)
  6. Glue sentiment across mug and add spoon so it is not going to go beyond the right side of the card.
  7. Adhere strip of trim to Calypso Coral circle with Mini Glue Dots.
  8. Add mug to Calypso Coral area using Dimensionals so it goes a little bit over the trim you just added and so the sentiment is just above it.
  9. With Stampin’ Dimensionals, add card front to card base then add sentiment piece.
  10. Add 3 Adhesive-Backed Swirl Dots using your Take Your Pick Tool.

LATTE LOVE BUNDLE (ENGLISH)

A LITTLE LATTE 12" X 12" (30.5 X 30.5 CM) DESIGNER SERIES PAPER

 NATURAL 3/8" (1 CM) POLKA DOT TRIM

ADHESIVE-BACKED SWIRL DOTS

Instructions:

  1. From your designer series paper, cut one of the cup images.
  2. On the 5 1/8” x 3 7/8” piece of designer series paper, stamp the cup outline three times in Pecan Pie Classic Ink.
  3. Emboss sentiment on strip of Pecan Pie:
    1. Rub the embossing buddy over your cardstock to reduce static. (If you don’t have the Embossing Buddy, you can try using a dryer sheet)
    2. Stamp sentiment using the Versamark Ink (on the right side)
    3. Cover sentiment with white embossing powder, then tap off the excess.
    4. Heat with heat tool until shiny!
  4. Cut banner tails. In each end of the sentiment strip.
  5. Assemble your card as shown in picture. The sentiment strip and cut are attached using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  6. Tie a simple know in the Natural 3/8” Polka Dot Trim, and attach using a Mini Glue Dot.

SALE ON RETIRED STAMPS

Yesterday, I got my daughters to take pictures of all my retired stamps and they are all on sale on my FB page! There’s over 140 different ones!

Most of the prices are:

  • $14 per stamp set
  • $45 per bundle (stamp set + dies)
