HI Alphabet Card

Posted on February 22, 2024February 22, 2024 by Josee

I made this card the other day and love how it turned! 🙂 There are so many ways to use the Mini Alphabet Dies.

Dimensions

  • Balmy Blue: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Designer Paper: 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Basic White: 3″ x 5 1/4″

MINI ALPHABET DIESMINI ALPHABET DIES (Note: the Fine-Tip Glue Pen can leave bubbles in the glue. You can try to pop them using a sharp pin, but personally I liked how it looked)

Directions

  1. Adhere the Designer Paper to the card front.
  2. Use the Alphabet die to cut out the letters.
  3. Add Liquid Glue to the back of the 3″ x 5 1/4″ Basic White cardstock and adhere it to the card without the letters.
  4. Use Liquid Glue to adhere each letter in their spot.
Tip to add glue easily on the letters: Squeeze some Liquid Glue on to the Silicone Craft Sheet, pick up a bit of glue at a time with a Sponge Dauber, then tap the dauber to the back of each letter.
  5. Use a small piece of Balmy Blue to cover “HI” on the die and cut it out using the Cut & Emboss Machine. Add some Dimensionals to the back of the letters and place them on the card.
  6. Squeeze some clear glue from the Fine-Tip Glue Pen on top of the letters “HI” and let it dry for a while. (Once dry, your letters will look shinier and thicker.) You can add more layers if you want it to look thicker.
