April Stamp Club

By · Monday, April 14th, 2008

April clubs are already done, I can’t believe how fast the time goes! It’s 3 weeks till May-imagine….one step closer to Summer!

For club this month, I showed the ladies different way’s to cover chipboard. The one we used for the actual project was using patterned paper with glitter. You can cover chipboard in so many way’s-covering with craft or classic ink, stamping a pattern with a stamp, covering with glitter, clear embossing, patterned paper, cardstock, rub-on’s and so much more….here’s the card we made:

The second project we did was a Scratch ‘n Sniff card-if you haven’t tried this, you really want to!!!! The cards made are just YUMMY!!!! I cased this card from a swap card received by Rosalie Crich and I added the greeting and made it into a Scratch ‘n Sniff.
Scratch ‘n Sniff Tip: I used 2 different coloured markers to colour the strawberry, huffed on it and stamped on my cardstock. Let dry or heat set, then use the versamarker to cover the stamped strawberry. Use clear embossing powder mixed with Sugar-Free Kool-Aid (1Tbsp Kool Aid to 1 ½ Tbsp of Clear Embossing Powder) to cover the strawberry and heat set.

I just love how bright and "summery" this card is! Can you tell I’m looking forward to Summer?

Have a great day! Josee
