Isn’t this the cutest Santa Suit?

By · Friday, November 14th, 2008

uggghhhh,  I typed up this whole great blog post and I just lost it. :(

This a adorable project is one that truly makes me happy to look at! It was created by Linda Palisek and shared at our last team meeting. I always love to see what Linda has to share! Maybe it’s just me, but, I really believe that STAMPING CAN IMPROVE YOUR MOOD! Do you agree? I think I’ve found the cure for sadness. lol

This project was created using the Big Shot Top Note die and just in case you can’t see from the picture-it’s a holder! You can use it to hold candies, a small gift or even some small note cards for someone special! The ribbon is the Stampin’ Up! black gingham ribbon dyed with ink. This can be a messy process so make sure you use gloves or a paper to hold down your ribbon on the ink pad while you rub it on.

Edited to add:
I’ve had 2 comments about different way’s to dye your ribbon…
The first was from Linda (who actually made this project), she said she used a marker to colour it….this is a great idea and a much less messy way!
The second was from Ann who said: "To try to minimize the mess, I place ribbon on the inkpad and then use a sponge dauber to hold it down while I slowly tug on one end to drag the ribbon through the pad. Fingers are only a little bit messy this way. Cheers, Ann"

Thanks ladies for the great tips!

You can to admit…it does make you happy-right?!

Now…go stamp something CUTE!!!
