Stampers Club Projects

Shake It Card & Tutorial!!!

Missed me? I know I’ve missed all of you in Blog World. I can’t believe how fast time flies. Seems like forever since I’ve had a chance to blog.

I’ve been so busy getting ready for my upcoming Stampin’ Girls Convention for demonstrators, I’ve hardly had time to do anthing else. I just can’t wait till May 30th where all the preparation will finally pay off. It takes me months to get ready for this event. I am so excited to have my business coach, John Sanpietro from Stamping is my Business, come WOW us with all of his tips and ideas! If you’re a demonstrator and have never checked him out-you really should! He’s done wonders for my business!

Can I WOW you by my new accomplishment? lol- last weekend I did a 5 km run with my soon to be 8 year old daughter. Ok, so we didn’t run the whole thing-but, my goal was to FINISH without dying and I DID IT!!! We even got a medal at the end!!! (Ok, everyone who finished got one, but, I was still proud-hee, hee).

Since I’ve neglected all of you for a while, thought I’d share something extra special!!! This is a project that I created for my stamp club this month. I got the idea from Danielle Lounds from Fat Cat Stamper. I loved her card and simplified it a bit to do with my club.

BONUS: For a step by step tutorial on how to make this card- click here!

Hope you like it!

I have another tutorial to share with you in the next couple of days! So, make sure you come back for a visit!

Have a fantastic weekend!!! Josee

I think I have the best club member around!!! They are great ladies and I love to get together with them each month!

March Club Project #2

I know I’m so behind in posting these in a timely fashion…this month has been a bit crazy. There seems to be someone sick or a snow day or March Break or an event to get ready for….why can’t we have more hours in a day?! This week I’m getting ready for the Capital Parent Show at the Nepean Sportsplex. You can read my previous post for a special coupon from me if you attend. Many other demonstrators are getting ready this week for the Stampin’ Up! Bermuda Cruise, but, sadly I’m unable to go. Boooooohoooo. I did earn it, but, couldn’t find a babysitter who would watch my 3 kids-so, instead I’ll take the money entitlement. I am sad though…it’s always so much fun to catch up with friends and enjoy the swapping, relaxation and to visit new places I’ve never been.

I am happy to say though that 4 ladies from my group will be attending the Stampin’ Up! Bermuda Cruise. Congrats to Marlayne Hardy, Kay Smith, Nancy Gauthier and Maryse Morneau who each earned the cruise for 2 from Stampin’ Up!!! I know they’ll all have such a great time-I can’t wait to hear all about it when they return!

For today’s share- you’ll find below some of my favourite Family Frames that some of my club members created this month! We used the All in the Family stamp set-if you don’t have this set…you really need it- it’s adorable!!!! All the ladies created wonderful ones, but, I couldn’t post 26 of them-so, I picked out the most unique ones to show you!

Aren’t they great?!
Hope you get some Rubber Stamping done today!!! Have a great day!
Josee- who’s looking forward to when Ottawa finally gets Spring weather!!!

Stamp Club Project-March

This month with my stamp club, we had fun making this cute card with Rub-On’s. We used the Love & Happiness Rub-On’s from the Sale-A-Bration Mini- but of course any Rub-On’s would be perfect for this project!
Recipe:
Set: Polka Dot Background, Lots of Thoughts
CS: Bashful Blue, Whisper White, Mellow Moss
Ink: Basic Black, Whisper White; Markers: Bashful Blue, Mellow Moss
Accossories: Scallop Punch, Rub-on’s, 1 3/8 Circle Punch

For each of my club projects, I create a 2-3 page printable Tip Sheet with pictures and directions to re-create the project. If you are interested in receiving this document to use as a demonstrator in your own clubs or to just use to create the project: you can click below to purchase it!

Stampers Club Projects: December

Christmas was definitely in the air at our December Stamp Club and we made these two great projects to celebrate:

Project #1 – Gift Tag Holder

Using the Tags for All stamp set (only available as part of the Wrapping up the Holidays promotion), this great idea is super creative in that it uses a 6×6 page protector as the main envelope to hold your beautiful hand stamped gift tags (you just cut the edge off the page protector, just below the Stampin’ Up Logo)!  Add to that any Designer Series Paper you’d like (we used Dashing) and voila, a beautiful gift tag holder!

Project #2 – Paper Lantern

Again using some Designer Series double-side paper of your choice, this simple yet elegant lantern is made up of only 12 strips measuring 1" x 6" each, looped together with some coordinating ribbon.  The result, I hope you would agree, is fantastic!

Come stamp with me! Check out my Event Calendar to find stamping and scrapbooking events in Ottawa (Kanata). It’s worth the drive even if you’re not local….I’ve even had Montreal scrapbookers and stampers make the drive and come back for more!!!

Have a HAPPY STAMPING Day!  Josee

Stampers Club Project: Circle Purse

Here is a picture of one of the projects we made at Stamp club this month! Each stamper got to choose her own decorative paper to create her circle purse, so they all looked different. It was fun to see how cute each purse turned out with different designs!

One of my club members mentionned how great these would be for a birthday party idea as a loot bag. Wouldn’t it be cute with a fun “girly” paper!? I think all girls LOVE purses!!!

Circle Purse

Did you know you can try out Stamp Club as my guest? I have one guest spot open for November 14th, let me know if you’d like to attend.

Recipe:
Set: Two Cute
CS: Soft Sky, Old Olive, Whisper White, DS Paper
Accessories: Tons of punches, Clear Buttons, Soft Sky Double Stitched Ribbon, RR Buttons

Happy Stamping, Josee
