3x Back to School Pages

It's the end of September and I finally got around to making my kids' Back to School pages. I'm really thrilled on how they turned out…I hope you are too! Let me know what you think!

The first is of my youngest who just started Kindergarten this year. I just can't believe they are all in school now. She's so proud of herself and is doing so well.

This one is of my son…of course…and he just started grade 4 in a brand new school. He's been doing really well and has already made some friends!

My oldest daughter just entered grade 6 and in her school that's the highest grade, so, it's neat to see how they are empowering her to be a leader. She is growing up so fast and now even has feet bigger than mine..can you imagine?!

A Year in Review 2011 MDS

I've been working hard this past couple of weeks to start to get on a schedule in my life AND also my blog. You'll start to see more regular blog posts and more exciting things coming here!

You'll notice that I love using My Digital Studio for my scrapbooking…it's super easy and quick! This week, I worked on my "A Year in Review" pages for 2011. Now….here's the super simple part…..Stampin' Up! has already created the page for me…I just have to add my photos! Now that's simple scrapbooking!!!!

The template I used is "A Year in Review 2011" Photo Book Template.

Camp Arnes MDS layout

This past month, my family and I spent 3 days at Camp Arnes- a family camp in Gimli, MB. My older 2 kids also spent a week there at the beginning of the summer and had alot of fun.

It's amazing how many things we fit into 3 days. There was only 5 other families there so we all got upgraded to a "hotel-like" facility with comfier beds, linings and a full bathroom.

Here's a layout I created using the Downtown Grunge Digital Kit from Stampin' Up! I love the digital kits that they create because it makes it so simple to create quick, easy layouts.

Kind of hard to see the pictures…but, it's photos of me and my older 2 kids doing high ropes. It was the first time that I've tried it, but, if you can see from the pcitures, I walked across a BIG log (pics on the right). Thankfully we are strapped in…but, boy is it scary being up there. I climbed near the top and then almost chickened out. I forced myself to do it though…I wanted to prove to myself (and my kids) that I could do it. lol
