Kids Cards

The cutest little board books ever!

The samples for today are using one of our On Board Books that will no longer be available starting in May. I absolutely LOVE these little board book…and I can't believe it took me until near the end of the Occasions Mini to figure that out. I made this book for a class we offered at our weekend retreat last month AND I also bought the books to make with 21 girls in our kids club at Church. They are super for kids and for adults!

AND when you partner these On Board Books with our Simply Scrappin' Kits, you'll find it so easy to create your project!

If you LOVE these too, make sure you order yours this month as they are not in the Summer Mini!

SPOILER ALERT: I have a Big Sale coming on Friday to celebrate my anniversary month!!

Do you ever have one of those days?

You know…when you actually get up on the "RIGHT" side of the bed?! That’s the day I’m having! Life is good!

I’m busy planning my team Awards Night  for tomorrow and am so looking forward to celebrating their accomplishments! We’ll have awesome presentations from Maggie Patterson and Kim Assaly…who both attended the Stampin’ Up! convention and came back with a wealth of knowledge to share with us. I’ll have my yummy chocolate fountain going for the girls (shhhh…don’t tell!) AND we have 3 fabulous make and takes for them. I’ll show you next week!

I’m also happy to have started a new stampers club  and we had such a great time stamping together and getting to know each other! I’m actually looking for 1-2 more members…so, if you’re interested in joining us next month, let me know!

Yesterday I found time to put my "EAT" in my kitchen and my All in the Family Decor Elements on my van! They both look so awesome! Even my kids and hubby loved them! Check out pages 19 and 27 of the Definitely Decorative Brochure  to see them! I’ll take photo’s soon to share with you! PLUS I ordered the "Tree, Thoughts & Prayers" AND "Direction of your Dreams" (pg. 14) to put in my bedroom…I can’t wait! I’m on a roll…with Decor Elements, they are so easy to put up, are economical and look so beautiful!

I got all my left-over RETIRED STAMPS organized and listed HERE ready to shop from!

AND I even got a whole bunch of stamping done in the last week and was feeling the fun in my stamp room! Here’s one of the cards I made for someone…I think it adorable and perfect for a child’s birthday! (Idea inspired by LeeAnn Greff)

Valentine’s Week: STAMPING WITH KIDS

Valentine’s Day is in 4 days…have you had your children stamp with you yet? My kids LOVE to stamp cards for their Dad and also some treats for their friends! I usually pick out a few stamp sets that they can use and then I allow them to pick their colours and I let them design it themselves. My son is not a big stamper, but, he does enjoy doing special cards here and there. His favourite part is hiding the card and seeing the person "find" it! It really gets him excited.

So, get your kids stamping with you!!!

Can I be the proud Mom for a minute?

Here is picture of my son stamping…can you see the intense concentration?! He has to get it just right!

Here’s the card he made for Dad:

Now my 8 year old daughter LOVES to stamp and loves to design her cards! Here’s the card she made AND designed! She even stamped the image…see how straight it is. :) I’m so proud! She DOES love her glitter!

AND because the baby can’t stamp…I thought I’d share with you a cute photo of her sledding with us last weekend! It may look like we tortured her by the picture…but, I promise you…she really DID have fun! (We had quite the laugh watching her covering her face as she went down the hill!)

Thanks for letting me share a bit about my kids!!!

Cards by my 7 year old daughter

My 7 year old daugher just got some pen pals this past week. They’ve agreed to hand stamp a card for each other each month and write a small note. She’s so excited. She loves to stamp and always wants to join my card swaps. I thought this would be a good alternative for her.

She even looked at splitcoaststampers to find a card to case this idea. So cute!

This card she designed all by herself. I think she’s going to be a future demonstrator some day, don’t you?! lol

PLEASE leave her a comment and let her know how great they are, she’d love to hear!

Have a HAPPY STAMPING DAY! Josee
