Fast Card Friday: Wow Flowers meets Flower Fusion

For today’s fast card, I got inspiration from Sherri Barron-Fun to Stamp. She did a Color Challenge and created a card using a similar design and colours. I decided I needed to use some of our new In Colors so off I went to stamp!!!

I started with my Flower Fusion and picked colours that matched with the flowers I used. From the preview stamp sets we got to order as demonstrators (just another bonus to be a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator!), one of the sets I bought was Wow Flowers! I used it as the background of my card using Tangerine Tango. I loved how Sherri used her paper piercer tool to create the stem of the flower with the leaves and had to try that on my Baja Breeze. I then used a strip of Kiwi Kiss and my NEW and very exciting Scallop Edge Punch….this is AWESOME!!!! I know you’ll all have to have one of these!!!

Fast Card Friday: Carte Postale

Happy Friday! Hope you’ve had a great first week of summer! My kids and I have had a wonderful time doing some extra fun family stuff. We started going swimming at the outdoor pool and they’re already getting more comfortable in the water! My son has hated water on his head all his life and this week he actually dunked his whole head under water all by himself. I was so proud of him. It’s so hard to stay inside to work when the weather is so nice so we’ve taken the chance to have some outdoor fun. Hope you’re having a great week too!

The card for today features the set Carte Postale. If you’re a member of my downline who was in the top 15 of sales or in my first line selling over $1000…DON’T LOOK! This is the card I sent as an congrats this month for my INKredible Sellers!!!

Fast Card Friday by June

Here is a really sweet card shared by one of my club members, June H, back in February that I never got a chance to share. It’s been a while since she showed it to me, but, I’m pretty sure she had made it for a family member who works for Canada Post! Isn’t it adorable?

It’s been such a busy week for me with it being the last week of school for my kids. Can you believe my son GRADUATED from Senior Kindergarten last night? They had the grad hats and everything, it was so cute. I can’t belive he’ll be in grade 1 next year…he’s really excited about it.

Fast Card Friday: One of a Kind

For today’s Fast Card-I chose to use the One of a Kind stamp set with some of my favourite colours. I love the pinks we have and can’t wait to see what the new catalogue brings with a new "In Color" pink. Only 65 more days till the new catalogue! hee, hee. I’m still trying to catch back up from my convention last weekend, and haven’t been able to stamp and post as much as I’d like this week. I have to say…I’m exhausted still but will get back into the swing of things soon!

Fast Card Friday-Heartfelt Thanks

I admit it…the stamping world is full of inspiration and I love it! There are so many talented stampers out there and I really enjoy seeing what people come up with. Ideas are everywhere…keep your eyes open to colour inspiration from fabric, home decor, etc…check out card ideas for colours and template ideas. AND don’t forget in the stamping world-it’s ok to CASE (copy and share everything)!

This week’s "Fast Card Friday" came from a card I saw on someone’s blog and I’m sorry to say-I lost the link. (If this is your card…please email me and I’ll happily give you credit.) I tweaked the card a bit and created it as a special thank you for a friend!

New Weekly Feature: Fast Card Friday

For my first "Fast Card Friday", I"m going to show you a simple card design for Father’s Day. I love that you don’t need alot of products to make this card. The most expensive item is the All Holidays stamp set…but, really-everyone needs that set. It’s a very versatile set that will give you greetings for almost every card you make!
