Demonstrator Event
Stampin’ Girls Convention: re-cap 4
Today's samples were made by Kathryn Curtis. Her booth at Stampin' Girls was featuring samples using the "It's a Wrap Holidays" stamp set from the upcoming Holiday Mini catalogue.
Did I mention yet that it starts on September 1st??? You're going to love it! If you don't have a mini yet and don't have a demonstrator…let me know that you want one and I'll mail you one. (Canada only)
These adorable little holders are made to hold chocolate nuggets.
Here's the template shared by Kathryn:

This stamp set is made so that it can fit office labels on chocolate nuggets…but, please note that the glue can seep through to the chocolate so it is best to add a piece of cardstock or a piece of copy paper.
Here's the guidelines sheet

Stampin’ Girls Convention: re-cap 2
More from Stampin' Girls Covention…today I'm sharing some amazing projects that were shared at this event. We have some INKredible stampers and I love how wonderful they are at sharing their ideas with us.
The first 2 projects were from an idea that Janet Wakeland had. She challenged her group to come up with "change jars" to save up for next year's convention fees. It hought it would be a fun little contest for Stampin' Girls attendees so we borrowed the idea. Here are a couple of the jars that were made:

Here are some more amazing samples on our share tables:

I'll be back tomorrow with some FANTASTIC Christmas ideas!!! Don't miss it!

Stampin’ Girls Convention: re-cap 1
Last weekend I had the priviledge of spending time with some amazing ladies that are part of my demonstrator team. This was my 8th annual Stampin' Girls Convention and we had a blast!
This year, I invited the AMAZING Ronda Wade to be our guest speaker and I know that we all learned so much from her.

On Friday night, we had our Team Awards night where we celebrated some INKredible ladies and their accomplishments for the past year:

On Saturday we spent the day learning techniques, hearing business tips, stamping and drinking LOTS of water…boy was it a hot day!

Make sure you come back tomorrow and check out some of the projects shared during the day!

Off to Valerie’s meeting…
This past weekend, I was invited to attend Valerie McCallum's meeting as the guest speaker. I was invited to speak to her girls and I shared my top 10 tips on being a dynamic, successful demonstrator. I was really honoured to have been asked and was happy to attend. I had so much fun, it was 3 hours away and I was lucky to bring my neighbour Amanda with me. We had a blast!
So, we drove to Brandon, MB and the morning was filled with chatting to the gils and then had a very yummy lunch, potluck style. After lunch we got to make a bunch of cards. I have to say that all the cards were so wonderful…those girls are talented! After the meeting, Amanda and I went to the Brandon craft show…I bought a new purse and a lovely coat rack that I'm actually going to use for the kids backpacks.
Here's an adorable frame that Valerie made using the Spooky Things Decor Elements and some candy corn.

Here are some other lovely projects they had on display:
Do you see the little ghosts??? This is brilliant, she used the owl punch upside down! I love, love, love this!
This was probably my favourite project, it's the most adorable little scrapbook box.

Stampin’ Up! Convention Highlights…
(this post will be long…lol)
In case you don't know, I spent last week with 2,700 of my closest friends at the Stampin' Up! Convention in Salt Lake, Utah. Though I've been a demonstrator for over 8 years, this is only the 2nd convention ever. It'll tell you one thing….I'M SO GLAD I WENT!
I had an absolute blast! Here are some photos to show you!
One of the first stops was Memento Mall. Time to shop, shop, shop! I love my new craft tote and laptop bag! PLUS all the other items I bought, shhhh.
We then went to the the Awards booth where you get to pick up the stamps and awards you earned free! I got a ton of stamps…gotta love those free stamps! I was so excited when I received my "Founders Circle" bag. Receiving this bag means that I earned one of the top ten spots for Demonstrator of the Year in Canada. Of course I don't get to find out my ranking until the Awards night.
Just as exciting, we met up with Kay Smith from my group right after she found out that she earned a spot in the top 10 and the Founders Circle trip! I really think she was in shock! It was so great to celebrate with her!
Here is our lovely convention bag and some of the free stamps we got!
I also had to show you a picture of my good friend and roommate Maggie. This is a picture of her and her new SAM (service account manager) from Stampin' Up! Maggie earned a SAM by earning the cruise this past year! I'm so proud of her and my other girls who earned the trip!
Fun with fabric and the Big Shot!
Home Decor…Stampin' Up! style!
This wonderful group of ladies are part of my team, "INKredible Canadian Divas". I truly love these girls, they are INKredible ladies! We had a fantastic time together and I'm looking forward to seeing them at the next convention!

Lastly here's a photo of me after I found out I was the #1 Demonstrator of the Year for Canada. As you can tell, I was just a "little" excited. Ask anyone there, I bounced all over that stage…lol.
I love all my customers and downline! Without all of you, I couldn't have been on stage!
Hugs to all!!!
