It seems like forever since I've blogged…I guess that's because it really has been forever. I used to be so good at being consistent, but, lately have such a hard time staying on top of it.

I just can't believe that May is nearly here. The weather is finally starting to cooperate and the kids are playing outside and I've actually seen some of my neighbours on the street again. I really love the sunshine and the warmth! For Spring Break, we went away to Grand Forks and Fargo which is about 3-4 hours away from where I live.

We had a really nice time…we stayed 2 nights at the Canad Inns in Grand Forks and my kids loved the Indoor Water Park.

I got to do some serious shopping at Target and at Gordmann's (my favourite new store). It's actually probably a good thing that the stores are 3+ hrs away or I'd be in real trouble. After 2 days we drove to Fargo and stayed at a couple of different hotels. We played at the pool, had some great food and shopped again! Gotta love it!

Just as we were getting ready to come home, my husband ended up slipping on some ice and falling side-way's onto a curb. He ended up twisting his ankle and breaking 2 ribs. Poor guy had to endure the ride back to Canada so we could get him to a hospital. I can't believe on how little they can do for ribs. Here's some pills….and you're on your way! It took him a good week before he could get in and out of bed by himself…crazy stuff! Thankfully, he can move around again but he's still really sore when he moves certain ways.

The nicer weather is really energizing me and I"m excited to have my next CARD CLASS. It's going to be on Friday May 13th at 7pm. You can REGISTER HERE.

Here are the projects we made:
We made a door hanger using some of our Occasions Mini products! Don't forget that the Occasions Mini ends this month…there's so many fabulous products that you shouldn't miss out on. Check it out here 

The other project we made was an adorable Flower Purse with matching notecards inside. The idea came from Marlayne Hardy who demonstrated it at her Christmas Party. I thought it would be perfect for this event! We created ours using some Designer Series Paper and each one was a bit different!

Here are a couple of my wonderful club member who attended. I really had a great time spoiling all the ladies who attended. My club members and hostesses really ARE the best in the world!

Each attendee got a little goody box with a small treat inside. I also had to throw in a photo of my daughter "guarding" the cake…lol.

Of course every retreat has to have some silly ladies! There was a party going on in the dining room and these crazy ladies ran in at the perfect time and started singing at the top of their lungs….it was hilarious! What a fun bunch of ladies we had this weekend!!!  

We had such a great time and I can't wait for our next one. Mark your calendar for Oct. 1st weekend for our next Stampin' Girls Retreat! You know you don't want to miss it!

Just in case you're looking for a wonderful place to stay in Westport, ON…I highly recommend Cove Inn & Spa. Their staff were truly amazing and so accomadating to all our needs. We had a great experience there!

Andrea and I now have some great plans to wow you with some fabulous projects to make! I'm excited to announce that your registration fee will include the Album & Designer Series Paper on page 27 of the Summer MIni. If you're a customer, sorry I can't show you them yet. You just have to trust me that you'll love these products! You'll leave the event with a finished 6×6 album and a couple of other super projects!

Demonstrators: use this completed album to host your own "Album in a Day" album. You'll have some additional projects to show with the DSP.
(Note: We will be using the stamp set on page 26 of the Summer Mini in case you want to order it as part of your pre-order!)
