Blog Candy Winner

By · Monday, February 2nd, 2009

Sorry this is over-due…I’ve been a step behind again…will the sickness in this house never end??? It turns out now that the baby is sick. She’s had a cough for a few days-keeping us up at night kind-of-cough and yesterday she got a fever and just felt awful. Poor thing looked completely worn out! She went to bed around 6pm and didn’t get up till about 9am this morning. Of course, she was awake on and off all night. My DH is off to the doctor with her right now. I’m hoping it’s nothing major!

So, the 2 winning entries of last week’s blog candy  were:

My favorite Valentine Day memory is easy to remember. My DD was born on Valentine’s Day. If for no other reason, that makes it special for us. A few years ago, my husband and I renewed our wedding vows on Valentine’s Day.

My favorite Valentines day memory is not mine but one my grandma told me a few years ago she was 84 at the time and Grandpa was 94.While I was visiting her I seen a heart shaped metal thing with a handle attached to the side I asked her what it was for and she said she seen it on a infocommercial and bought it 5 years ago and “I make Grandpa valentine pancakes for him on valentines day.” How sweet is that. Also everyyear since I’ve been married 24 that is my DAD brings me a long stem red rose as well as my sister and sisterinlaws. Have to love your family as mine is pretty loving.

I loved reading all the entries…it was fun to see how sweet husbands (and boyfriends) can be!!!

Thank you so much Josee, for picking me as 1 of your blog candy winners. I am so excited and can hardly wait to get started on making this wonderful set. The tutorial is beautifully detailed so I know I will have no problems.
Hope your little one will be feeling better soon and maybe you can catch a nap or a full nights sleep. Thanks again and hugs!
