Sampler of Time Well Spent by Tracie
These 5 samples shared by Tracie St. Louis at my team Pizza Party earlier this month are absolutely yummy! I bet you won’t guess what the background paper is!!! Ok, I’ll tell you! It’s the paper that SU sends in their boxes as extra packing. She straightened it out and stamped on it! Don’t you think that’s so clever?! I know it’s something I’m going to try soon!
Make sure you leave Tracie a comment below to let her know just how great an idea this is! (Hi Tracie!)

Don’t you want to be a stamping Diva?
I’m offering a DEMONSTRATOR SPECIAL: sign up before Jan. 20th, and you’ll get 5 free classic ink pads from me absolutely FREE!
On Friday, I hosted our quarterly Demonstrator Diva Night. My team has a chance to earn a spot at this special and exclusive event where they get to enjoy making some special stamped projects, friendships with other top demonstrators, yummy goodies and best of all SPA services.
Each demonstrator can get free spa dollars from me for different reasons such as bringing a make and take, a demonstration, getting promoted in their SU business or bringing a snack. On Friday 7 of us got pedicures and 1 manicure. Nothing like having pretty feet!
We had 3 fun make and take’s!
The first project was one of my club projects from this month:
In this project, we used the versamark plus a classic ink pad to create a sticky ink that we can emboss with. Have you ever done that?! It’s so easy.
Directions:
1) Ink your stamp in the versamark ink
2) Now place it in your Classic ink pad (in this example I used Ruby Red)
3) Then stamp it on your paper
4) Add your clear embossing Powder
5) Heat with your Embossing tool (no, a hair dryer DOES NOT work!)
Voila! Instant coloured embossing! Now you can emboss with any colour ink you have! Fun!!!
The second project created by Anne Morin, a very talented Quebec demonstrator in my group was this adorable envelope! It closes using 4 hearts from the Time Well Spent stamp set. Did I ever mention that this level 3 hostess stamp set was sent to ALL the demonstrator absolutely FREE, FREE, FREE!!! That’s over 50,000 of these sets sent out. Yikes!! What an awesome perk of being a demonstrator.
Here’s what it looks like closed.
Here’s what it look like opened.
And here’s the matching card that fits inside perfectly! Don’t you just love it?
The last make and take we had was brought by Trina St. Michael. She prepared this calendar using a CD case. What I love about it is that it uses almost all of my favourite in the SU catalogue: Embrace Life Stamp set, Ginger Blossom Paper, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter and Rhinestone Brads…oh my…how can you go wrong with all of these wonderful things. Ok, I feel like I should break into a song now. lol. Sorry about that. hee, hee
January is definetely a time for making that special calendar and I’m sure this great project by Trina will surely inspire you to create your own!
We had a great time at our Diva Night and I’d love to have you join me next time. If you’ve ever thought of joining Stampin’ Up! as a demonstrator- now is the time!
I’m offering a DEMONSTRATOR SPECIAL: sign up before Jan. 20th, and you’ll get 5 free classic ink pads from me absolutely FREE! A Special Christmas Gift (a little late in sharing)
I know I’m late in showcasing this…but, I couldn’t help but share it with all of you even if I’m behind. (The life of a mom with 3 kids…nothing ever gets quite done on time!)
This lovely gift was dropped off by one of my customers, Diane Daines just before Christmas. It was so sweet of her to think of me, don’t you think?! Diane has been featured here before as a featured stamper. She is a talented crafter in ever way!

The box fit this beautiful ornament perfectly. I’ve never seen this type of work with beads before…I’m not sure what it’s really called, but, I like to call it an ornament "skirt". So cute! AND it looked so nice on my Christmas tree.
I don’t know about you, but, our family loves to add a few special ornaments to our tree every year. We date each one with a gold pen and part of our Christmas tradition is to reminance about each one. My kids just love looking at all of them and remembering when and where we got them.
Thanks Diane for adding a special ornament to our tree that we can cherish each year!
Have a HAPPY STAMPING DAY! Josee
p.s. In the upcoming days…I’ll be posting some awesome samples shared by some of my downline lately at some of our demonstrator events! The samples are great and I know you’ll want to come back to check it out!

Open House Cards
My recent open house to celebrate the New 2008 Spring-Summer Catalogue was tons of fun – with two fantastic cards made during the evening. I tried a silent auction for the first time to sell of my retired products and what a blast that was. The ladies walked away with amazing deals and seemed to really enjoy it! I always love getting together with a new catalogue, we even did a catalogue scavenger hunt.
This was the first card we made – using the fabulous new hostess stamp set called Time Well Spent and the beautiful decorative paper package Ginger Blossom. Interested in hosting a party to get this fabulous stamp set – call me today!
I got this idea from Patty’s blog HERE, she always has such fabulous ideas…I can’t help but be inspired.

This was the second super cute card made at my open house — inspired by my very creative downline Heather Fosbery. This card uses another new fantastic stamp set used called A Beautiful Thing.
The more I continue to use Pumpkin Pie cardstock and ink, the more I love it – very fresh, isn’t it?!
Make sure you check out my online calendar for fun opportunities to stamp with me!
