Featured Scrapbook Pages
Family Scrapbook Page - Kim Assaly (demonstrator)
Using a sepia picture of her beautiful family, Kim really captures elegance here with this page. At the bottom, she has used the technique called Tag Punch Star or Tag Punch Starburst taught to us by demonstrator Tracie St. Louis (see Demonstrator Events for more examples). What a fantastic example of combining stamping and scrapbooking together - thank you so much for sharing Kim!
‘Capturing the Action’ Scrapbook Pages - Jackie Decarlo
Jackie shows us just what fantastic scrapbooking pages look like with these 3 pages which show off her husband’s cycling talent and his involvment in a bike marathon one hot August! Way to go hubby! I just love the pictures on the first page and second page cropped into squares for a super artistic touch! Thank you so much for sharing Jackie!

Handmade Gift Exchange
At our team Christmas Party this year, we each brought a handmade gift to be exchanged - and the gifts shared were amazing!
I received this beautiful angel, made by Trina St. Michel. My eldest daughter was overjoyed with this ‘win’ and has made it well known that this angel is to become one of our most prominently displayed Christmas decorations both this year and in years to come! Thanks so much Trina - you have made both my daughter and me very happy ladies this Christmas!
For my contribution, I was fortunate enough to have a wonderful lady at my church make this table runner for me. The gloves were stamped (by me!) using the Punch Pals stamp set before being sewn on as part of this runner. Believe me, I was sad to part with this gift!

Santa Pants
Here’s one of the most adorable Christmas ideas I’ve come across this season! This is an original idea by Kathie McGuire (Santa Pants Instructions) and I just love it! I used it as a door prize for a downline meeting and it was so fantastic I had to make two to keep one for myself! I filled it with mint patties decorated with a snowman made from the Cold Play stamp set and the scallop circle punch. You could use a white gel pen to draw the stitches or if you’re feeling particularly crafty, you can sew them with your sewing machine.
Hope it makes you smile too!
BTW, if you love Cold Play- don’t forget that it’s retiring, so, make sure you order it before Dec. 30th! You can find the Retiring List here!

Ornaments - Stampin’ Up! style!
Here are 3 fabulous ornament ideas for you to try:
Ornament Idea #1 - Let it Snow Ornament
You know you’ve made a wonderful project when your husband makes a point to tell you he likes it (to quote him, "one of my favourite things you’ve made")!
This was an original idea by Heather Summers, but I modified this adorable ornament to instead use clear embossing powder mixed with a very tiny amount of white to capture the ’snowing’ look (a previous mixing mistake turned good!). The adorable snowmen were made using my large oval punch and the Cold Play stamp set.

I love this ornament - and even sent it out with tons of Christmas cards this year to share it with others!
Ornament Idea #2 - Scallop Punch Ornament
Using the Scallop Circle Punch and some embellishments from the Pretties Kit, this fun ornament can be a great craft idea to do with your kids or just a great way to add some Christmas spirit to your home!
This is an original idea by Ann M. Clemmer and I just love it!

Ornament Idea #3 - 3D Snowman Ornament
This was a fabulous idea shared by Trina St. Michael at our team Christmas Party. Using small tins (Trina got them at Lee Valley Tools), we built these ornaments using some designer paper and a fun new technique of adding glitter to pop-up glue dots to make it look like rolling snow! Thanks for much for sharing Trina!

Stampers Club Projects: December
Christmas was definitely in the air at our December Stamp Club and we made these two great projects to celebrate:
Project #1 - Gift Tag Holder
Using the Tags for All stamp set (only available as part of the Wrapping up the Holidays promotion), this great idea is super creative in that it uses a 6×6 page protector as the main envelope to hold your beautiful hand stamped gift tags (you just cut the edge off the page protector, just below the Stampin’ Up Logo)! Add to that any Designer Series Paper you’d like (we used Dashing) and voila, a beautiful gift tag holder!
Project #2 - Paper Lantern
Again using some Designer Series double-side paper of your choice, this simple yet elegant lantern is made up of only 12 strips measuring 1" x 6" each, looped together with some coordinating ribbon. The result, I hope you would agree, is fantastic!
Come stamp with me! Check out my Event Calendar to find stamping and scrapbooking events in Ottawa (Kanata). It’s worth the drive even if you’re not local….I’ve even had Montreal scrapbookers and stampers make the drive and come back for more!!!
